haknyeon woke up in the hospital room... what happened? he slowly looked over to his side, sunwoo and hyunjoon sleeping on the chair together, hyunjoon's head on sunwoo's shoulder and sunwoo's head on hyunjoon's head. he looked over to his other side to see jacob, sleeping on kevin's shoulder while kevin caressed jacob's hand.
"you're awake." kevin softly said as he noticed haknyeon awake. jacob woke up from the noise and looked over to haknyeon. he suddenly grabbed his hand, tears spilling out of his eyes.
"thank you, haknyeon. i owe my life to you." jacob softly said, his voice shaky from crying.
sunwoo and hyunjoon awoke in the process too. they too started to cry and apologized over and over. haknyeon couldn't remember what happened but kevin explained to him.
"sunwoo and hyunjoon tried to stab jacob but you ran behind him and got stabbed instead. i thank you a lot for taking the knife for jacob. i owe you my life too." kevin smiled so gratefully at him.
haknyeon exhaled a breathe of relief, he had set his wrongdoings right. and now he had to tell them.
"im sorry, sunwoo and hyunjoon. for causing everything." haknyeon turned towards them. sunwoo and hyunjoon looked shocked.
"what do you mean? it should be us that's begging for your forgiveness now, not you." sunwoo said. he clearly was as confused at silenced hyunjoon.
"im sorry. i caused you to see the color of blood and it led to the two of you wanting to see more. im sorry if i fell in love with the both of you. i can give a color to someone i love but doesn't love me back but it takes away their sense of guilt. im sorry for turning you like this." haknyeon cried. he felt at fault. he really should have restrained himself from loving the both of them.
"you can give color too?" kevin asked. "my family passed me a talent to give color to a monochromatic if i fell in love with them, but i can only do it once though, even if it's permanent." kevin further explained "i felt so guilty i didnt like sunwoo or hyunjoon, i felt so guilty i could never give them a chance to see the world in color. im sorry too, sunwoo and hyunjoon. im really sorry."
a tear had made its was down his cheek and jacob wiped it away for him. "now it's no one's fault. there's law defending a monochromatic's actions if these cases ever do happen even if they're quite rare. im surprised sunwoo or hyunjoon didnt attack me sooner, usually monochromatics only last a few hours before being unable to resist the temptation." jacob softly laughed."now i think you four should get back to class now." they all heard a voice at the door.
their homeroom teacher, mr. sangyeon, along with the doctor and his nurse arrived. the doctor had peach hair and the nurse has pink hair.
"we'll be taking care of haknyeon for the rest of his stay here, work hard for haknyeon's sake, alright?" sangyeon smiled at them. the four had exited the room and sangyeon sat on a chair fairly far away from haknyeon, but still within hearing and sight.
"are you fine now sir?" the peach-haired doctor had asked him. haknyeon found the doctor strangely attractive with his cute features and long neck. "im ji changmin, your assigned doctor. since you're quite a special case, me and my nurse, choi chanhee, will keep an eye on you most of the time so i would say you can warm up to us." the doctor then smiled the most charming smiled haknyeon had ever seen.
little did he know, he was slowly but surely falling for this doctor, whoever who he was.
