Clarissa's POV:
"Do you guys think they can find us in here?" I asked.
"There is no way Will and Adley would come up here." Alan said.
"But there is always a flaw in every plan. Unless it's made by a criminal." Ashley said.
"Shut it you guys! There is a possibility that they can here us!" Mark whispered.
"We're in the attic, you dumdfo." Zach snapped, not to loudly.
"Still!" Mark whispered.
There were ten of us up here: Alan, Ashley, Mason, Jason, Mark, Zach, Chloe, Rebecca, Hayden and me of course.
I don't even know how we fit in here but we do.
"Alan? Claire? Are you guys up there?" We all heard. Our eyes widen.
Alan was about to say, 'No we are not', which would give away our hiding spot, when I put my hand on his mouth and gave him a glare.
'I told you.' Mark mouthed to Zach, who in turn nodded.
Ashley waved her hand and motioned for us to be quiet.
"Zach? Ashley?" Another voice said.
Gosh! Where are the adults when you need them?
"You sure you heard something over here?" The first voice asked.
"Yeah, I'm sure." The second one answered.
This is bad.
"Take cover behind the boxes." Alan whispered in my ear to pass the message around.
"Let's open this up and check then." The first voice said.
I hurriedly passed the message around.
Once everyone got the message we all stood up and took quiet steps to make sure that we don't make any noise--or even a squeak for that matter--and hid behind the boxes.
The trap door to the attic lifted up and a head popped up.
"There's no one here Ad. Let's go." Will told Adley.
They descended the ladder and the trap door was lowered.
"That was close." Alan whispered.
Everyone got out from behind the boxes and took a seat on the floor.
"What happens when they come back? We can't just hide behind these boxes forever." Mason said.
"Too late! Found ya!" Will and Adley popped up at the trap door, making everyone scream.
*Flashback to earlier today*
Alan, Will and I were sitting in the living room all bored because we don't have anything to do.
Will pulled out his phone and opened an app.
He directed the camera side towards Alan.
Alan looked at him weirdly, until a song came on.
The tune for the song Shape of you came on.
"What are you doing?" Alan asked him.
"Just listen." Will said.
The lyrics that played were entirely different, "You would not believe your eyes. If ten million fireflies...." It played.
"Are you using tiktok, dude?" Alan asked.
"Yup." Will said. "Could you act a little surprised. I'm trying to post something here." He continued.
"What?" Alan asked confused.
