*Almost a year later*
Clarissa's POV:
"Take a deep breath. Everything is going to be alright. Just relax."
I scowled. "Shut the hell up!"
"I'm trying to calm myself down here and you're telling me to shut up? I'm not ready for adult life yet. I need more time." Will said.
"Chill out. Everything is okay. We are just graduating not going on our first war." I said.
"This is like war with the adulthood." He said.
It was time we graduate. Will was anxious, nervous and excited all at the same time. He was happy about it until we came to school. That was when he started to feel nervous, like it just hit him that it was actually happening.
Alan was just bored out of his mind and said, "I didn't want to be here anyways so it's good that I'm graduating."
As for me, I don't know what I was suppose to feel at all.
The ceremony was taking place in the auditorium. We were supposed to sit in alphabetical order. With our last names being the same, the three of us ended up sitting together with Alan on Will's right and me on the left.
Alan had put on his headphones saying that he didn't want to listen to the student's 'inspiration talks', because there was nothing inspirational about it.
"How do you feel?" Will asked me after some time.
"I don't know." I answered truthfully.
"How do you not feel anything?"
"Well after all the trauma that went this past year, how do you expect me to feel?"
"Still thinking about it?" He asked.
"I just can't get it out of my mind. Every time I looked at the lockers, the halls, it just kept on reminding me of what had happened in my life. So I just want to leave it all behind."
"People do say that the senior year of high school is unforgettable." Will shrugged.
That was true.

After all the students gave their speech on the future and what laid ahead of us, the principal - Mr. Owen's - got on stage to call out the names of the graduates.
All the students were told to line up, but there was no space left. So until the people at the front get their diplomas, we were to sit where we are.
"This doesn't help calming my nerves." Will said from beside me looking at the line of students.
"You'll be fine. All you have to do is go on the stage when your name will be called, grab your diploma and take a picture. Then you can get down. You'll be okay." I said.
"That didn't help calm his nerves either. You just made him even more nervous." Alan said.
"What?" I said and took notice of Will's paled face.
Alan sighed.
"Will." He called.
"What?" He looked at Alan.
"Are you a boy or a man?"
"What kind of-" Alan cut me off with a glare.
"Are you a boy or a man?" Alan repeated.
"A man." Will said puffing his chest. I slapped my palm on my forehead.
"Then don't be scared. You're a man right? Men are not scared of anything. And this is just graduation." I heard Alan say.
