CRASH! I jolt up at the sudden noise. I rub my eyes as I quickly scramble out of bed. It was just the beginning of dawn. Who the hell is downstairs?
I cautiously peer down the stairs. No one's down there, as far as I can tell. I quietly tip-toe down the stairs. I look in the living room. The only sign of life in here is my dog, Coco, all bunched up in her dog bed with fluffy blankets all around her.
I made my way over to the kitchen next. Wait..... what if someone broke into the house? I started getting worried. I grab the only "weapon" I could find in the hallway- an old baseball bat that use to belong to my brother. I slowly walk down the hallway, expecting a murderer to jump out of no where.
Wait, what's that smell? I sniff the air. Hold up, is that waffles I smell? I couldn't help it. My stomach rumbles loudly.
I slowly enter the kitchen, holding my baseball bat above my shoulder, in position to swing at someone. I held my breath and look around the kitchen.
My eyes widen. There standing near the stove, was a person. A guy with fluffy, brown hair and beautiful, green eyes. The same green eyes I fell in love with.
He turned around and our eyes met. We've been dating for almost a year now and I still can't get use to his dashing smile. Every time he smiles at me, it feels like the whole world stopped and it's just the two of us.
He came over and put out his arms. I accepted the hug. He smelt like the cologne he uses and....... syrup? I look up at him, his arms still wrapped around me tightly.
"What are you doing here at an hour like this?" I asked, with a light laugh.
"Am I not allowed to make my beautiful girlfriend breakfast?" he responded with an eyebrow raised. I just laughed and went back to hugging him. A couple seconds after our little hugging session, my stomach rumbled loudly again.
"Can I have some food?" I asked, laughing.
"No," he said in a baby voice.
"Spencer!" I exclaimed, laughing lightly. He wouldn't let go, being the adorably, clingy boyfriend he is. I turned around and tried to get out of his grip, but his grip was too tight for me to break through.
"Let's go upstairs and cuddle," he whispered in my ear from behind me. I could feel his hot breath on the back of my neck. I turned back around, so that I was facing him again. He gave me one of his adorable puppy faces that he knew I couldn't resist. I sigh and gave in.
"Fine," I replied, "let's go upstairs."
His face lit up and I smiled. He returned the smile and then, without warning, started running up to my room, pulling me with him.
"Love, slow down!" I exclaimed as he dragged me into my room. I flopped down on the bed and he did the same. I rolled myself over to him and he immediately wrapped his arms around me protectively.
Our faces were just inches away from each other. He leaned in, our lips touching. It felt like explosions were going off around us. This wasn't our first kiss, but every kiss felt more special than the last.
We both pulled away, our faces still very close to each other. He smiled that gorgeous smile of his and I could feel myself smiling as well.
"I love you," I whispered, placing my head on his chest.
"I love you, too," he replied, "I love you so damn much."
He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head. I soon fell into a world of sleep- dreaming of what will happen in the future....... with the person I love so deeply 💙I luv u ♥️ Thank u so much for reading! ~W.C 💎
