The smell of fresh painted wood hit my nose as we entered the house.
"Shhh, try to stay as quiet as possible," Connor whispered as we walked to, what I'm guessing, was his room.
"You hungry?" he asked as we past the kitchen. I shook my head and kept on following him. We soon came to a door that was painted red and was labeled with, "CONNOR" in bold letters.
"And welcome to my room," he said as he closed the door behind us after we both entered the room. I took a look around and was surprised to see a minimalist look throughout his room.
"Your room's so cool," I said in amazement.
"Thanks," he said, smiling. I smiled back and realized that his eyes were an amazing, green color.
"So where am I gonna sleep tonight?" I wondered.
"You can sleep in my bed and I'll sleep on the floor," he said with a small smile.
"No no no. You can sleep in your own bed. I'll sleep on the floor," I said back, feeling bad that he was gonna sleep on the floor for me.
"Then how about we just both sleep on the bed?" he asked, "I'll let you have your side of the bed and I promise I won't get in your way."
I chuckled as he said that. It made my heart flutter knowing that he was such a gentleman.
"Are you sure?" I ask, just making sure one last time.
"Yes," he said, "and you should probably get some rest. It's pretty late."
I nod and thank him. I then realized I didn't have my pajamas with me and my hoodie that I was wearing now was soaked from tears.
"Um...... do you happen to have anything for me to wear?" I asked awkwardly.
"Uhh.... you can wear some of my clothes," he suggested.
"Sure, if you're ok with it."
            "Yea, totally."
He handed me one of his hoodies and started looking around for some bottoms for me to wear.
"I can just wear the shorts I'm wearing right now," I said quickly, not wanting to cause any more trouble for him.
"You sure?" he asked. I nodded and went into his bathroom to quickly get changed. The hoodie he gave me was a nice baby blue color and it had a turtle on the back of it. It was a little big on me, but it was fine. I then realized the hoodie smelt amazing! I smiled and exited the bathroom.
I found Connor sitting on his bed on his phone. He was shirtless and I couldn't help, but stare.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer," he said, smirking.
I rolled my eyes playfully and walked over to the other side of the bed.
"What?" I asked as I climbed into the warm, comfy bed. I had caught Connor staring at me.
"It's just that you look really cute in my clothes," he said, blushing.
I blushed and thanked him. I quickly snuggled into the blanket and got comfortable. Connor placed his phone down and got comfortable on his side of the bed as well before turning off the lights. Both of our backs were facing each other.
A few minutes past and I still couldn't sleep one bit. Connor kept moving around, so I knew he was still awake.
"Hey, you still awake?" he quietly whispered.
I didn't respond, hoping he thought I was asleep.
"I know you're still awake," he whispered again, "you know I don't bite, right?"
I couldn't help, but quietly giggle.
"Ha! I knew it," he whisper-shouted.
I turned around, so that I was facing him. He also turned around, so we were now facing each other face to face.
He put his arms out like he was offering a hug. I moved closer to him and he wrapped his arms around me. He was warm and smelt like vanilla- just like the hoodie. I smile and snuggled into him. I could hear his heart beating and his hand was slowly rubbing up and down my back. It was quite soothing and I could feel my eyelids getting heavy.
He placed a kiss on the top of my head and held me closer.
         "Night," he whispered.
"Goodnight," I whispered back, drifting into a world of sleep.

Hope you enjoyed that one 🙂 thank you to everyone who's actually reading this book ♥️😁 (also, please don't go into a random stranger's house and cuddle with them minutes away from meeting them :/) ~W.C.
