The smell of fresh wood and paint hit my face as I walked into the old, guitar shop. I looked around and grinned. This was gonna be fun, but also hard finding a new guitar. My old guitar got a little wrecked since the workers at the airport threw my guitar case a little too roughly. Screw them, I thought as I wandered around the shop.
My eyes landed on a bunch of acoustic guitars near the back corner of the shop. I excitedly walked over. I spent a couple minutes looking all of them over, but none of them were calling out to me.
"This one's pretty nice in my opinion," said a voice from behind me. The stranger's hand was pointing at a black, acoustic guitar. I could feel a smile forming on my face as I looked over at the guitar.
"It's beautiful," I said aloud. I turn around to say thanks to the stranger, but as I turn around, no words were able to escape my lips.
Standing in front of me was a guy that was amazingly cute. He grinned and I could feel my legs turning into jelly.
"T-thank you," I said with a sheepish smile.
"You're welcome," he said smiling. I took the guitar off the rack and played the strings.
"I would be in here for hours looking for a guitar, but thanks to you, I found one pretty quickly. It's perfect, you're perfect....I mean-" I awkwardly said, blushing at the end.
He chuckled and smiled at me.

~10 minutes later~

"Thank you, again," I said to Hunter as we both walked out of the guitar shop, me with my new guitar! Yep, I know his name now lol.
"You don't have to keep thanking me," he said, laughing, "Why wouldn't I help out such a pretty girl?" he said, blushing.
I looked down and blushed furiously.
"So it seems like we have a few things in common," he said, grinning.
"What'd you say that?" I said with a giggle.
"Um.... well...... d-do you want to go on a d-date with me?" he asked nervously.
It felt like I was wasn't breathing. Did HE just ask ME out on a date? I blushed and nodded my head.
He grinned and gave me a hug before we exchanged numbers. The whole time, it felt like I was dreaming. As he walked off, leaving me with hundreds of thoughts inside my head, I could hear my heartbeat thumping in my chest.
As I walked home, there was one question in my head still. Which was better- getting the guitar or getting Hunter? I laugh to myself with the answer in my head.

"And that's how I met your father," I finished as my three kids looked at me with amusement in their eyes.
"So you met Dad at the guitar shop down the street?" my 10 year old daughter, Samantha, asked.
"Yes, were you listening to the story?" I asked with a chuckle.
"Let's go to the guitar shop right now!" she exclaimed.
"Why?" I said laughing.
"Cause I might be able to finally find true love there!" she yelled as she ran around the room.
I laughed as my two, younger sons ran after her.
"Woah, what's going on in here?"
"DAD!!!"
All three kids quickly ran towards Hunter, tackling him in hugs. I sigh and smile at the sight. They all got off Hunter as he walks towards me. He sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"So, what were you guys talking about?" he said, as he stuffed his face in the crook of my neck.
"We were just talking about how I met you," I replied.
"That feels like just yesterday," he said back. We both smile at each other, remembering the day that changed both of our lives. Our moment was soon interrupted when Jake, our youngest son, started tackling Henry, our middle child, on the floor. We all laughed.
This is where I want to be forever. With the people I love the most.
