Just A Girl

Chapter 13

I had just gotten from the beach with Charlotte. We had been enjoying the last Sunday before midterms and had a really fun time.

I let myself forget the fact that my mate was half the country away. I miss him but I refused to stop my life because of it. I didn't want to be one of those girls that relied solely on a man.

"Hey" my phone dinged.

"Hey, how u doing?" I answered

"Busy but I miss you😣😔"

"I know but we will together soon love" 

"We will talk later baby I have to go duty calls 😚"

After my small text conversation with my mate, I decided to get some studying in for my midterm tomorrow.

Leaving my excruciating math test I couldn't have been more excited for it to have been over!!

Since we could leave right after the test I decided to get some food at burger king because I love it.

"ROSALINE! WAIT UP!!" Charlotte yelled behind me.

I stopped and waited for her.

"What you up to now that we can leave?" She asked

"Well, I was thinking about going to the gym then home to shower and change then some food. Wanna come with me?"

"Yes I have been meaning to hit the gym but I hate going alone."

We walked out of the building and towards my car. Charlotte ran over to my brother to give him a hug and kiss and tell him we were leaving.

At the gym, Charlotte and I both had on some workout hoodies and shorts because we were going to sweat a lot.

Walking in the place was pretty empty. After we checked in we went and started stretching.

30 minutes into our work out a group of guys came in.

We obviously paid no attention to them. But I couldn't help but notice that they were far too cocky. The kind of guys that spend 95 percent of there lives in the gym and get way to muscular and stuff. They kept looking at Charlotte and I. It became very uncomfortable so we decided to leave plus we were hungry.

"Hey, chicks where you going?" One of them smirked at us.

We didn't reply we just checked out and exited the building.

"Hey, where do you think you're going" they shouted at us following behind us.

It was at that moment I caught there sent they were rouge!!!

"Charlotte run" I whispered

"Run to my brother and don't stop till you get to him"

I could see the hesitation and she wants to stay with me but I wouldn't let her I could tell my wolf was doing something to force her to obey my words.

Note to self ask wolf about that later.

One guy ran after Charlotte while the other 3 backed me into a corner. One tried to grab me and I tried to punch him before he could but it didn't work. The guys were just too big. But that didn't mean I wasn't going to try everything I could to get away from them. I punched, screamed, scratched, hit, bit did anything I could to try and get them to let go. But they just wouldn't. There be a good steel grip on me kept tightening and I could feel my ribs cracking under the pressure.

I could hear the sound of the pack racing this way but unfortunately for me, I wasn't the only one that heard it. The men did too. They ran into the woods and the head start they had on the pack was too much. They ran and the pack ran after them but because of the laws in place, the pack couldn't exit the pack lands.

And the 3men got away with me in hand.

My head shaking and bobbing around caused me to pass out at some point. But it wasn't before I could get a single mind linked work out "Xavier". Then I passed out.

When I woke up unsure of how much time had passed I was in a dark room. It was wet with a liquid scent I knew all too well. Blood. The room was complete cement and there were chains hitting the wall almost like they were dangling.

The door on the left allowed no light in once so ever.

I was hoping someone would come in and let me out but I wasn't delusional I know they weren't going to.

So much time had passed and my stomach was growling I wanted to move but my body was so week.

I tried to mind link someone.

"Hello?"

"Rosaline!"

"Yes please, I need help!?"

"Where are you, baby?"

" I don't know I am in a room it's dark there is no light"

"Can you hear anything??"

I paid attention for a second really focusing on hearing anything.

"A train I can hear a train a bit away."

Then the door opened and I shut Xavier out of my head.

"Awe you are awake."

I didn't bother with an answer I was to busy trying to get away from the burning light of the door opening for a few seconds.
