"What?" That was the confusion I had from the others' plans. Apparently we were finally going to an onsen, despite the fact we just were attacked by Yoma and Kagura was roaming around freely with almost unlimited power.

And they can see my confusion as well. Homura was the first to speak on behalf of the plan.

"Look, I know you have an identity crisis, plus whatever is going on with this Kagura person, but...it's relaxing," You failed to convince me, Homura.

Looking to the others, it was evident that we weren't exactly on the same page. But the more I thought, the more I wanted to go. The vacation was supposed to have an onsen right around the hotel. Maybe I could give it a chance...seeing Miyabi was possibly the most terror I felt in ages; better to wash that away, alongside whatever tension I had in my muscles.

"We all need a minute, Kagemi- erm, Kagemitsu..." Yomi almost forgot my name. Or did I? Yeah, nevermind. Better to actually go and not let myself be drowned in my own thoughts. That's probably the springs' job; I remember one of Haruka's experiments ending up that way.

Hotel Hot Springs

Given what I was led to believe by these pamphlets, it'd be like the one at Hebijo. An open space, with adjacent baths to help cool people down after a soak in the main pool. And of course, decorated by bamboo. Because we like using that in Japan.

We were just walking towards the area, as I noticed the Hanzo girls. The general response was surprise, followed by shock, ending in a friendly conversation. Well...it would be, if not for Katsuragi slowly sneaking up on Homura. I obliged to simply chop her head; the floor would need a replacement tile.

"Ow..."

"Sorry, but I have seen how you handle Asuka. Speaking of, it's surprising to see you girls here,"

"Class trip, I'm guessing?" Hikage commented, looking at Katsuragi pull herself from the hole I made with her face.

"Yup. We were on vacation,"

"Emphasis on 'were'. It became a working vacation," Ikaruga sighed at that. I guess it was not too different than a normal Shinobi job. "Still, at the very least, Murasame isn't dead,"

"Told you...he is a lot of things...fragile isn't one of them," I chuckled a little, remembering the face shattering punch I gave him. Speaking of, where was he?

"He is sore, and decided to hit the nearest manga store in Kyoto," Answered my question just as I was about to ask.

The conversation was nice. Hibari was basically praising my hair choice, calling it cute. Yagyu of course, wasn't exactly thrilled at that, and suggested getting it herself; so much for a simple hairstyle. Now she wants to copy as soon as the pinkette liked it.

Katsuragi was commenting on how 'badass' I was during the whole ordeal, and wanted to have some pointers. But considering that gaze that reminds me of Haruka, I declined. Asuka also was considering a possible training session, but Homura was quick to object. She didn't want her rival getting help from her own teammates, but contradicted herself when Homura offered her own teachings. And noticing it too late. Typical.

What I did notice was the gravitation of people. Katsuragi was attempting to reveal some emotion from Hikage. Haruka was getting increasingly close to a flustered Hibari, as Yagyu intervened before it got awkward. I think? Maybe it was jealousy, and it became awkward regardless. With Mirai simply groaning at the sight. Mainly because the orbs on the chests of the girls.

"..."

"You are okay, Mirai," I told her.

"Shut up!" She looks upset, but from her body language, there was gratitude in that statement. Getting praise from anything male was reassuring to her, so I obliged when I could.
