Why him?! It could have been anyone but him! What about that Stella girl? She looks pretty happy to be with that curley haired one so she wouldn't want to be friends with me! But no! I had to go and get myself partnered up with handsome old Peter!

"(Y/n) Clanxton?!" The teacher repeated.

"Yes Miss!" I shouted quickly.

"Peter Stark?"

I turned to Peter, my mouth gawping.

"You're related to Tony Stark?!" I whisper.

"Well, adopted." He whispers back, not taking his eyes off the teacher. "Here, Miss."

I couldn't believe it.

Why on earth would TONY STARK, THE TONY STARK, want to adopt a kid like Peter? Like as in THE TONY STARK, IRON FREAKING MAN!

Peter could tell what I was thinking due to my shocked expression.

"It's a long story," he whispered, "I'll tell you later."

The rest of the lesson went pretty well. I got chance to show off my extensive scientific knowledge that I had learnt from my mother.

Although, at one point I did spot Peter doing something weird in his draw out of the corner of my eye but I had just assumed that he was tidying up.

By the time the bell had ring, I was feeling a little better about making friends there.

Maybe it won't be so bad after all.

I looked down at my time table. I had Advanced Computer Science next.

I entered the computer room that was almost only male students. The teacher looked up at me and scowled.

"Hey there." He called to me, "You sure you're in the right class? This is ADVANCED Computer Science."

"Yes..." I replied questioningly "So?"

"Never mind." He stated dismissively before looking back down at his computer.

I took my place in a seat at the back.

"So, who can tell me what would happen in this situation?" He asked, pointing at the board.

I shot my hand up as quickly as I could. The teacher scanned the room as if I was the last person he wanted to pick.

"(Y/n) why don't you give it a try?" He asked after he was sure no one else would answer it.

I answered the question perfectly. I even pointed out errors and redundant pieces of code.

"Well done." The teacher smilled.

I enjoyed that lesson so much that I hadn't even noticed that the bell had rung.
"Alright everyone," called the teacher, that I had now come to know as Mr. Thornton, "Time to pack up!"

Reluctantly, I collected my things and walked into the busy corridor. The halls were rather easy to navigate so I found my way out of the labrynth eventually. As soon as I stepped through the door, blinding sunlight shone into my eyes. Blinking a little as I adjusted to the brightness, I noticed Peter, Ned and MJ waving to me from the steps.

"Hi guys!" I smiled as I ran over to them.

"Hey, (Y/n)" Peter grinned back.

For a second I stared into his dreamy brown eyes...

Stop it!

"Anyway, I'll see ya tomorrow!" I added hastily before setting off home.

"Okay.... That was weird." MJ commented once I had run around a corner.

I arrived home and rushed up to my room.

I can't have a crush! Not now!

I looked down at my necklace for the first time since that morning. The light was of, meaning that Zappu was asleep. I clicked the central button and she emerged in the form of purple lightning and zapped onto my desk.

"Awww..." She whined, "I was sleeping."

"You've been asleep the whole day?!"
I asked slightly angrily.

"You woke me up early." She retorted.

Several weeks had passed since my first day at the new school. Peter and I had become even closer. Once, we had gone to a coffee shop to get some frappes.

Maybe this new life won't be so bad after all.

(A/n sorry it's late I has a cold. *Cough* This one was a little shorter than usual. It might be a while before I write another. I'm not really very good at ships and Romantic stuff.
