11| My Roommate Loves Me

I pulled back quickly with widen eyes that stared back at him in disbelief. He looked annoyed and it was probably because I pulled back so harshly.

"What are you doing?" I asked sitting up from the bed. I waited for my answer as he stayed in laid position.

"What's the big deal?" He asked carelessly, "it's a simple kiss."

"A simple kiss that goes against rules," I retorted, "why did you do it?"

A smirk planted on his face, "just to see how you'd react."

"Stop with this bullshit, you're lying." I stated looking at him annoyed. I was sick and tired of his mixed signals and new surprises, he shouldn't be giving out signals and I hate surprises. "Enough with this mysterious, playful bullcrap, talk to me like a regular person."

His face twisted into a cold stare. "Fine Solana, do you want me to 'love' you or something? A kiss is a kiss." He spat out.

"Of course not," I replied without a flinch, "you shouldn't be kissing me because kissing often does imply something different. Kissing isn't just for fun, Sasha and I don't take it lightly."

"So is that your reason on why I can't kiss you?"

That kiss was something bigger, I can feel it. I don't know if it had frustration, vulnerability or anger behind it but he did it and it wasn't just the 'spur of the moment' type.

"You're making something bigger than what it really is, don't be so paranoid and drop it." And it was final because after that I had shut up. Maybe I was being paranoid, with all of the information that he laid on me, I wouldn't be surprised.

"I just don't take kissing lightly, so don't do it again." I stated simply and turning around in the bed, facing away from him. I heard him sigh and move around in the bed.

"Is there any chance that you can..." He struggled to find words, "that we can...step forward from this? You know, not be on cold shoulders?"

"I guess," I said slightly uncomfortable, "I'm still freaked out, but I'll be here if you need me to be."

And that was that for the rest of night.

Surprisingly, Sasha and I slowly started back on our path. Which meant that we were still having sex, and as slutty as it sounded, we both needed it. The sex between us relieved whatever stress was going between us (all except the sexual kind) and it mad us relax. Soon I became some what decent living with Sasha and who he really was.

But unfortunately, Sasha had been acting different ever since that night the kiss. He's more...aggressive, and blunt. It's like he's slowly becoming more----I don't know.

"I need boy advice." I announced over the phone with Anders. I've decided that Ander's was a better choice for information rather than Lanie, whom wouldn't understand draw situation and would shoot redundant questions first and help later. Anders helped first and asked questions after.

"Is this the hot mafia roommate?" I could practically hear the smirk on his face and see his eyebrows wiggle, "what's up with you and your bad boy?"

"Please don't." I retorted, I quickly rethought which friend to come to for advice. I forgot Anders tended to joke, a lot.

"We managed to come back on our whole friends-with-benefits thing, but something seems different, more tense." I said wearily, I looked around my room awkwardly.
