Travelling in a private cab many hours later, Priyanka and Manisha sat blind to everything around them. Their eyelids brimmed with tears, and their eyes were compact with horror. They spoke nothing. They had nothing to say.
Police had taken the body for interrogation. They had phoned Rahul's parents who were coming to Marhi. To see their dead son. Priyanka and Manisha were going home, but it was no homecoming.
The cab took a crazy turn and Manisha emerged from the trance. "Perhaps I know how he died"
Priyanka looked at her. Her eyes were wet.
"Never believed it though" Manisha's voice trailed off and then came back sharp "Rahul did drugs".

The newspaper in which Priyanka worked hosted 2 news articles the same month.
1. 5th April 2018: 5 days after his death, doctors confirmed that Rahul died of drug overdose.
2. 26th April 2018: A young girl fell from her rented 3rd floor apartment and died. Amid speculations of suicide, it eventually became clear that she long suffered from Somnambulism (or sleepwalking).
The journalists obviously had no way of knowing that Manisha had received a friend request by the name of 'Rahul Singh' the night she fell to death.
