"Sebby!"
"Hey, Brina!"
My eyes fluttered open and I took my time to adjust to the blinding aesthetics of the room. White.
White.
White.
All around me, equipment the bed and the hot doctors uniform.
Wait.
Hot doctor.
I never get a hot doctor.
My dentist was in his seventies and managed to win employee of the month every time. When I broke many parts of my body, they had never. Ever. Been good looking.
"H-h-h-hi".
Looking around the room it only came to me that we were the only ones present on the room. "What am I doing here?"
His deep chuckle sounded through the room and instantly had my hard beating a mile a minute. "Someone had an accident at school. Apparently you were in the janitors closet. Don't know what you were doing there, but at least I got to see you". He took his index finger and tapped me lightly on the nose.
I moved my face back hesitantly. This man was becoming a little less attractive as he increased his flirty attitude. What seventeen year old needs a grown ass doctor in their life?
The memories of the days earlier incidents were starting to imprint into my mind. Groaning I threw my head back onto the hospitals plush pillows. Opening my eyelids one by one the doctors gleaming smile beamed in the bright sunlight.
"Um cool, when am I getting discharged?"
He turned his clipboard backwards and his stethoscope got caught in between his fingers. "Trying to run away from me Brina?"
That was like the third time he decided to call me by a nickname.
"Yes. I don't know you and I just was to go home".
His chuckle turned slightly darker as he placed the clip board on my bed with a slow force. "I've got to say Brina, you are the prettiest patient I've had in a while".
"Funnily enough, not many grown men say that to seventeen year olds. You know, minors".
His chuckle died down completely and he looked at me with a little hatred swirling in his orbs. He took steps back towards the bland wall beside the door. His hand began to reach back, fear coursed it's way through me as possibilities filled my head. "Well I'm not many me-"
"Sabrina!"
The door swing open knocking the doctor backwards into the wall, smashing his perfectly sculpted nose. My mother, Gareth and Anna came rushing into the room, completely oblivious of the man behind the door.
The door slowly went back to closing, the black haired doctor stretched his face as blood came pouring out of his nose. It was only then I realised that he probably could handle that himself, considering his degree and all.
"Oh, honey! Are you all right".
I stretched my back out hearing a satisfying pop. Groaning I threw my head back and smiled, because I felt literally no pain or abnormalities, not to mention the doctor was scrambling on about how he was going to sue my parents, yet they paid zero attention to him.
Attention felt good.
Maybe I should let paint buckets fall on my head a little more often.
Gareth stared at me with his eyebrow raised and Anna had her eyes glued to her phone. "Yes actually, can we go home?" My mom smiled lovingly. I jumped out of the bed and cringed at the hospital dress that fell over my body hiding every single aspect of my body.
"Oh, I think there's something in the lost and found".
I grimaced in disgust, seriously. I knew this was too good to be true. I'm probably sleeping. Anna flung open the door sending the whining doctor back into the wall. I think I was the only one who noticed he was here. Snickering I left the room walking in front of everyone.
I gasped, this was not what I expected. For sure. Racks and rows of trendy clothes stack and hanged. Crop tops, silk dresses and any form, shape, colour and size of jeans. I smirked feeling the different fabrics of the materials.
Picking out a thrasher hoodie and thigh highs I exited the miraculously designed area smiling to myself. After changing in lighting speed in the restroom. I let down my hair, which surprisingly enough was not greasy.
I liked this refurbished life. I felt like I was a whole different me.
