CHAPTER NINE : MIDNIGHT DATE

~~~~~~~TWO WEEK LATER~~~~~~~~
CALUM’S POV
I covered her mouth as fast as I could so she wouldn’t scream.
“Shh.” I said to her. “It’s just me, relax.” And I slowly let her free.
“Calum? What are you doing? Don’t wake me up like that!” She slapped my arm really hard, I guess I made her angry.
“Come on princess, you said you’d go on a date with me.” I said laying down beside her.
“Calum it’s like 1 AM.” She said looking at her phone as she sat up.
“It’s the perfect time.”
“How is this the perfect time?”
“Because, everyone is asleep. It’s our secret date, and no fangirls will mob us or even paparazzi. Please?” I tried to convince her.
“Okay, I’ll go with you.”
“Yay! Now just wear something to keep you warm, it’s cold outside. I’ll be waiting at your balcony.” I stood up and went out to the cold night of her balcony and waited for her.
I hope she likes my plan. A few minutes later I hear the balcony doors open and I saw her. She’s beautiful no matter what she wears.
“I can hear Michael and Luke playing next door. Won’t they notice we’re gone?” She sounded worried.
“Don’t worry princess, I sneak out all the time to get away and get lost in my thoughts. Come with me, you’ll be safe.” I said sticking out my hand to her.
“I trust you, Calum.” She takes my hand and I slowly lead her quietly down the stairs. The balcony is too high for us to go down.
“Where are we going?” She said holding my hand tighter.
“You’ll see.” I smiled at her.
We left the house and we’re on the street. I held her close to me as we start our walk.
“So why would you agree to go on a date with me if we’re going to be siblings?” I asked her as I lead the way.
“Because I thought about what you said. That it doesn’t mean you can’t love me. I’m not sure how I feel yet but I don’t know… maybe someday I’ll find someone to love.” I started to think about what she said and listened to what she had to say.
“So why did you ask me out on a date?” She said smiling as she kicked a rock ahead of us.
“Because I knew you’d say yes.” I laughed a little.
“Very funny.” She smiled at me.
“Almost there.” I said holding her close.
“But really, why did you?” She kicked the same rock a few more feet ahead of us.
“Because I wanted to apologize for being a jealous idiot earlier when you fell on Ashton the other week; I also want us to get to know each other better.” I continued talking as we turned around the corner.
“It’s okay, I forgive you. I can’t wait to get to know you better.” She puts her arm on my back as her hand holds my waist. I switched my position and put my arm around her shoulders guiding her where to go.
We walked quietly under the stars for a few minutes and we finally reached the park.
“The park is beautiful at night. So peaceful, calm and it has so much colorful lights.” She said with her eyes wandering around admiring the sight. I smiled at that.
