(Newt P.O.V.)

Newt was sitting at his desk working on an updated version of his book when he heard a tapping at his window. He looked over, seeing a tawny grey owl lightly tapping on the glass to get his attention. Tina's owl. He went over and lifted the window up, and Charlie swooped in and perched on the back of his chair, waiting for Newt to take the letter tied to his foot. Newt untied the letter, giving Charlie a treat before opening it. He began to read;

Dear Newt,

I have some terrific news! I'm officially on my summer break from work, so I don't have to report to the Woolworth building, thankfully. Although, I am still technically 'on duty', as us aurors like to call it. Being an auror does have a downside.

But guess what?

Queenie and Jacob are getting married! Isn't it wonderful? They are going to be moving to England since non-magical and magical relationships are still banned here in America.

We're all coming to see you Newt!

Newt felt his heart soar as he read that sentence. He was going to see Tina again! He continued to read;

I'm still not sure when we will be arriving or leaving, so expect another letter telling you that information soon. I can't wait to see you!

Love,
Tina

Newt felt himself smile, extremely happy that he would be seeing his friends again, and most importantly, Tina. He sat down at his desk, pulling out a fresh piece of parchment before beginning to write a reply. When he finished, he tucked it into an envelope and sealed it shut, tying it to Charlie's leg before bringing him to the window and letting him fly away. He then closed the window and exited his room, going down the stairs to enter the staircase leading to his basement.

"Bunty!" He yelled, searching for wherever she went. He found her chasing the baby nifflers, they had probably somehow gotten loose again.

"Oh, come here you!" She said in frustration. She then dangled a shiny necklace from her fingers above the nifflers head, and it jumped up and down, attempting to grab it from her hand. While it was distracted, Bunty swiftly picked up the niffler, placing it back into its cage with the others as she locked it shut.

"So sorry about that Newt, I think they had gotten out while I was tending to the others," Bunty said sheepishly.

"No worry, you can't really control them all that well," Newt said, staring at the adorable babies as they played around in the cage.

"Well, anyways, Bunty I came down here to tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Some friends of mine from New York will be visiting us soon. I'm not sure when, they have yet to sort out the dates yet."

"Oh, okay. Is that all?" She asked, wiping her hands on her pants.

"Yes, I believe that's it. I thought you would want to know because you would most likely be here helping me."

"Well, I appreciate the thought." Bunty smiled, and Newt gave a quick nod before going back upstairs to his room.

The manager of Flourish and Blotts really wanted Newt to publish a second edition of his book, so he had been spending a lot of his time lately working on it. He almost got letters every day asking if he has finished it. It was starting to irritate him, so he had been focusing on finishing the book so the manager would stop bothering him. Newt felt bad that he was depending on Bunty to take care of his creatures during this time, but thankfully she understood his situation and was caring enough to help him.

Newt sat at his desk and began working more on his book, starting to draw a sketch of a Zouwu. He was just finishing up drawing its tail when he heard a knock at his door. He looked up to see Bunty standing there in the open doorway, waiting to say something.

"Yes?" He asked, turning in his chair to look at her better.

"I finished checking on everyone. Everyone's good, no problems."

"Thank you, Bunty. You can go home now." Suddenly Bunty looked nervous. She hesitated for a moment before asking,

"Newt? Who exactly are your friends from New York?" He thought this was a strange question, and instead of answering it he asked her,

"Why do you ask?"

"Just curious." She looked really nervous now, fiddling with her hands and glancing at different areas of the room. Why does she look so nervous? Newt wondered, and he suddenly became very concerned for Bunty's well being.

"Well, my friends from New York are Tina, Queenie, and Jacob." She was quiet for a moment before randomly asking,

"Are any of them married?" Newt was surprised by the question and sat there for a moment, trying to figure out why in the world Bunty wanted to know that.

"Um, well Queenie and Jacob are getting married. That's the whole reason they are coming here, Jacob is a muggle and America doesn't allow non-magical and magical relationships. Why did you want to know Bunty?"She stood there frozen for a moment before saying,

"Um, I'm going to go now." She hurried from the door and ran down the stairs, and soon Newt heard the slam of the front door as she left. Newt sighed, turning back to his work. What was that all about? Sometimes he wished he was a legilimens to see what people were thinking. But at the same time, he was very thankful he wasn't one.
