"Hey Mr Angel?" Clover asked as Pit bit into a newly bought apple as they wondered stall to stall. Put hummed looking at her.
"Who's your good friend?" Clover asked.
"Hmmm well their kinda old, but they were blessed with immortality. They will hopefully help us out." Pit stated thinking placing a finger on his chin. Clovers brows furrowed, but nodded.
"Have you met them?" Clover asked.
"Nope" Pit responded skipping off. Clover stopped walking giving Pit a very confused glacé that was mixed with worry and fear before rushing to catch up to Pit. The angel hummed happily looking at all the different food and venders. Clover grasped onto Pit's hand.
"Can we find them then?" Clover asked tugging on his arm. Pit looked down at her thinking for a moment then smiled. "Sure!" Pit chirped. "Yay!" Clover celebrated throwing her hands over her head. Both went out of the town wall walking a far distance before pulling out the map.
"Hmmmm, let's see. I know they live in the a spring surrounded by mountains So....." Pit trailed moving around the map to look at the terrain. Pit's humming forming a nice tune, Clover swaying to it.
"Mr Angel?" Clover asked, swaying.
"Yes?" Pit hummed carrying the toon.
"Why are you helping me?" She asked looking at the white wing angel. Pit's humming didn't stop but he thought a moment. "I feel like I need to, I'm the Guardian of Humanity so I guess that it." Pit responded, "i'm supposed to protect the humanity of humans, protect them from the Gods and from themselves I guess."
"Then why are you bringing me alone? Why not leave me in a town and find my parents?" Clover asked crossing her arms.
"There's something about you, there's something planned for you" Pit smiled hopefully before cocking a brow, "Why? Do you want to be left in a town?" Pit asked curiously.
"Not really, I went to a lot of towns before to find my Momma and Papa, I never found them... maybe if I stick around you i'll find them" Clover smiled hopefully.
"I hope we do, family is important! Especially for angels, I hope it's the same for humans" Pit laughed lightly turning back to his map. Clover nodded and sat next to Pit swaying along to his humming. Pit giggled at her little dance before saying, "If I can find a violin I can play some music for you." Clover lit up at the suggestion, turning to look at him with a sparkle in her green eyes, "Really?!" She explained, "I've never heard a violin before!"
"Really?!" Pit explained, "if I can get back home i'll definitely play something for you! There is no way you can go on without hearing violin music, not a chance" Pit declared nodding to himself making Clover laugh.
"I found where the place is, well I think" Pit smiled, "We have to take a boat to get down the river" Pit continued. Clover nodded along, not really understanding where he was going with this.
"So unless you can climb well or you can swim well... we need to find a bout." Pit stated tapping at the map. He finger lit up and he gently placed it on the map, right on a large looking town.
"What's that?" Clover inquired giving a perplexed glance. "A way point, so we don't lose our way. I can see them in real life so don't worry" Pit explained pointing south. "That's where we need to head" He declared. "There's a town up river from where we need to go. Hopefully they have a spare boat" Pit added rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Let's go then!" Clover demanded jumping to her feet, "No point on waiting!" Pit begrudgingly got up from his comfy spot from under the tree with a simple "Okay" that was said with a sigh.  "Here" Pit offered getting the compass from his invato stone and handing it to Clover. He dropped it as a golden chain came from it.
"This should help you since you can't see the way points." Clover took and wrapped it around her neck. "Thank you!" she gleamed. Bouncing happily at the shiny new object. Pit nodded, "let's go!" Clover yelled running south. "Wait! No fair!" Pit yelled chasing after her as Clover ran in a fit of giggles and laughing. Pit caught up quickly and matched pace with Clover until they both ended at a calm walking pace.
"Mr Angel" Clover asked.
    "Yes?"
"What if we don't find my parents? Then what happens?"
Pit thought for a moment before speaking.
"If we don't find them then you can probably live with me until we do. Palutena won't mind an extra set of hands" Pit said scratching the side of his face.   Clover nodded but kept a determined face.

The sun began to set and Pit had carried Clover a majority of the time. He found a small clearing in the woods they were currently walking threw. Gently he placed Clover, who had fallen asleep right when the sun began to set. He went threw his invalto stone, while Colver wasn't looking he had gotten some survival gear, mainly a tent. He set it up quietly and gently set Clover down in it using the cloak as a blanket for her. Pit was about to go to sleep himself when they sky caught his eye. He moved closer to ledge to watch the sun fall and the stars come into show. Carefully he sat himself against a tree that was handing over the ledge that he carefully sat on.
The sky had turned from orange and yellow hues to a pitch black sky with a colorful hues of the milky way, stars littering the sky. Pit smiled as green and purple hues twirl in the sky. Pit watched as the sky lit up with colors, almost like it was just for him. Pit watched with interest and care, with a knowing look he nodded he spoke in just above a whisper.
"I'll be home soon, I promise"
It was spoken with determination that was a flicker turning to a flame. He watched the night show until he leaned against the tree and gently fell asleep the light calming after Pit fell asleep. The lights in the sky slowly dimming with the light of Pit's laurel.
The guardian angel had an angel of his own, one that would watch over him and wait until they could meet again.
