"Yeah whatever."

After saying the two very intellegent words Michael had walked up the stairs and had probably gone to his room. I heard a door slam. I was now sitting on the couch and watching tv, again. I suddenly remembered I still had some bags in my car that I needed. I opened the front door and walked to my car. As I searched for my car keys in the pockets of my coat, the front door suddenly closed behind me. I had meant to leave it open but the wind had other plans. I didn't have a key but luckily Michael and Karen where both home. I found my car keys and unlocked the car. I took my bag from the passengers seat. I had only brought one bag with clothes and some toilet stuff since I lived nearby and could always go back to take other stuff. I walked to the front door and rang the doorbell for the second time today. I heard some shouting coming from the house. After a few minutes nobody had opened the door yet but I didn't want to ring again because I was sure they heard it the first time and I didn't want to be rude. Finally I heard someone unlock the door. The door opened, it was Michael.
"Oh, it's you." He said without showing any emotion.
"Yes it's me, it took you long enough. Now let me in." I told him a bit annoyed.
"No."He simply told me while slamming the door in my face. I tried to put my foot between the door but I was too late because I didn't expect him to do that. I sighed and rang the doorbell again. Michael was so annoying why couldn't he just be nice, that would make the situation so much easier. After ringing the bell a few more times nobody opened.
"Karen is home so why doesn't she open the door?" I asked myself just as she opened the door.
"Luke I'm so so sorry, I was busy packing and I thought Michael let you in."
"It's okay." I gave her a weak smile. It's not like it's freaking cold outside and I was freezing my ass off.
"Come," Karen said as she took my back and walked upstairs. She gestured that I should follow her. "Let me show you to your room."

I decided to unpack because the room was extremely empty and not cozy at all. I hadn't brought much stuff except for my clothes so when I put them in the drawers the room was still quit empty. After I put the stuffed penguin I brought with me on the nightstand, I decided to lay down on the bed. It was very comfy and I wanted to sleep right away but I couldn't because Karen could be leaving any moment. I stared at the ceiling and I thought about the whole situation. I felt a bit betrayed by Karen because she had talked about Michael as if he was the perfect son, which he obviously wasn't. I undestand she didn't want me quit because I thought I couldn't handle it. I wasn't scared about that though, I wasn't the type to give up quickly. I wondered if Karens whole appearance was a lie since she basically lied to me about Michael. About Michael, he was fucking hot. I wasn't going to deny that. Honestly, he made me a bit nervous. He shouldn't make me nervous because firstly he was two years younger than me, secondly I was his babysitter and lastly he's an asshole. I was interrupted in my thought by a knock on the door. It was Karen
"Luke, sweetie. I'm leaving right now." How had I only just now realized how fake she sounded. She was just trying to be nice to me so she could dump her son with me and go whatever place she was going to go to.

"No parties, drugs, alcohol, new tattoos or piercings. Are we clear Michael?" Michael ignored her and texted someone back on his phone. Karen sighed, giving up and turning to me. She gave me a hug.
"Take care of my baby boy will you?" I saw Michael rolling his eyes behind her back.
"Yes I will." Although I don't think he wants to be taken care of.
Karen grabbed her suitcases and walked to the door before is she closed the door behind her.
She said. "Michael please be a good boy for once."
"You know me mum, I'd never do something stupid." Michael smirked.
"Bye boys."
As soon as she closed the door behind her Michael walked to the couch and turned on the tv. I decided to join him.
"Are you still here?" Michael groaned in annoyance when I sat down on the other side of the couch. I ignored him. We sat in silence for some time while watching tv.
"Michael, could you please switch to channel 2? My favorite show is on right now." I asked him.
"No, I'm watching this. Can't you see?"
"Please Michael. I'll die if I miss it." I whined. I pouted and tried to look cute so he would give in.
"You're not cute, you know?"
"Oh I know." I told him while getting closer to him. "I'm fucking hot that's what I am."
"You're annoying. You know what, go watch your stupid tv show. I don't wanna be around you anyway. I'll be upstairs." He sounded pissed off.
It was not my fault he was angered so quickly and at least I could watch my favorite tv show.

-

"Hey Mikey." I said while leaning against the doorway. His door was opened and he was lying on his bed with music blasting through his room.
"Don't call me that." He told me as he buried his head in his pillow. I walked further into his room.
"What do you want for dinner tonight?" It was around dinner time and I was getting hungry. I'd decided to be nice and ask Michael what he wanted.
"I don't care, Luke. Just leave me alone." He said into  his pillow. So much for trying to be nice.

-

Michael was quickly shoveling the spaghetti into his mouth. He moaned a little and I'd to admit that it turned me on, only a little bit.
"This is so good. I haven't had anything home cooked in ages."
"Thanks. I try." We continued eating in silence. Since dinner had started Michael had acted normal. He hadn't been rude or anything. We were making progress but I think it was because of my amazing cooking skills.
"How did my mum find you anyway?" Michael questioned as he filled his plate with more spaghetti.
I shrugged. "I don't really know. My mum told me about it. I guess they're acquintances."
"Could be. I don't care. I'm just surprised she found someone that was willing to look after me." He said mockingly.
"How so? Did you fuck up last time?"
"You could say that, yeah."
"Spill it." I was curious.
"Nope, maybe another time." He stood up and took both mine and his plate to the kitchen. At least he had some manners.

After I cleaned the rest of the dinner table and the kitchen I was tired. Michael was watching tv but thinking about how both of us watching tv ended the last time I decided to call it a night.
"I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." I told him.
"And you're not going to tell me to go to bed too?" He said, not taking his eyes of the television.
"Nah, I think you can decide for yourself. You're old enough."
Michael didn't react but I saw him smile a little.
