"crash" Glass rained down on me. I scampered to avoid the glass. I ran into a empty room to take cover. Just then I realized that I was in Ralph Tubex office. He was the boss of the Seattle Scientists. On his desk was a book. I approached the book in which the tile read, "The Magical Book of Marvels" Without thinking, I grabbed the book and stuffed it in white shield shaped backpack I always wore on my back. It actually doubled as a shield too! I ran out of the office and hid in a closet. When the break in was over, I came out of my hiding place. Repairs were already happening and guards were being sent out to chase away the rebels who rebelled against the Scientists rule against the world. The Rebels had fought a constant battle against the Scientists for 10 years. Suddenly the loudspeaker rumbled, "BARCO VENICE, PLEASE COME TO MY OFFICE!!!!" I realized it was Ralph Tubex. I had a bad feeling in my metallic gills. As I entered the office Master Tubex growled, "You know where my office is? You should! You've been here to steal a certain book. Smart little marvel, distracting us with an attack from the Rebels while you were stealing a special book of mine! I know this because I have a camera in my office! Boo yeah!" I cried, "I don't work with the Rebels. I came here to hide, and I found a book! I never knew it was special!" This was true but Ralph didin't believe me. He took my greatest weakness, energy, in the form of a tazer stun gun. True scientist technology I thought. Before he could probably cripple me for life, Dr. Griff burst in. "Sir! He's innocent! Please don't hurt him!" Master Tubex laughed, "So you like our little toy marvel? Well, like this!" Then he stabbed Dr. Griff in the heart with the tazer stun gun. Dr. Griff crumbled like a cookie. Ralph cackled like a witch and pulled a gun out of his pure black suit. He shot Dr. Griff in the head before laughing, "How do you like your best friend being dead? Guards take this marvel filth into the dungeon and search his room for my book!" However Mr. Tubex didn't know that the book was with me, on my shoulder in my backpack!
I was hunched up in the cold dungeons. I was quite miserable, they gave us 3 meals: Morning bread and water, Lunch bread and water. Guess what dinner was? BREAD AND MORE WATER!!! There was none of my favorite foods, tuna, salmon, and other kinds of seafood. (Hey I was the marvel of water, what did you expect?) I wanted to read the Marvel book I took, but I was afraid that there was a camera in my prison cell! Suddenly the lights sputtered out. "What's going on" I wondered out loud. Just then an arm grabbed my arm. "I'm helping you escape! Now shut up and follow me" whispered a voice. Not knowing what awaited in the looming dark, I followed the strange voice in the dark.
