As the weird voice led me across the dark hallway, I smelled a horrible smell of sewage. I spotted a large hole. "That's the sewer!" announced the voice. "We're going in there to escape." Lifting the cap, the voice descended into the hole. I followed him in. Then the smell hit me. It was more powerful than a scientists tazer stun gun. The green murky water seemed to be poison. Rats the size of books strolled with red eyes burning with hate. A narrow stone ledge was covered with slippery moss. The voice walked onto and said, "Well, are you going to get captured by the scientists, or are you going to follow me?" I decided I would rather follow him. After crawling on the stone ledge for a while, the voice announced, "I'm Martain Vel. You can find the Rebels at Re's Bell shop. If you go through this hole, and climb out, you will find yourself in the Seattle, Washington. Don't forget to read the book. Every marvel is required to have the book. It's the marvels source of information." Martain disappeared, leaving me to my thoughts.
The rest of this chapter is from the "Magical Book of Marvel": The original 8 marvels cannot die. Fire, water, ice, earth, wind, energy, light, and darkness. The marvels lived on Marvel Island, a island that could only be reached by a ship called The Journey. The Journey can only be driven by marvels. The Journey is currently held in New York Harbor, guarded by the New York Scientists. The only way marvels can reproduce is when the combine powers. Say, a water marvel shoots a energy marvel, and the powers hit each other. These combined powers may form a pod. Special markings on the pod can show what kind of marvel it may be. 10 days later, the pod will hatch. 10 more days later, the marvel will be fully developed. There powers will also be fully developed. Another way is when a marvel "throws up" pods. They can "throw up" many pods at one time. However, the pods can only be the same power as the marvel who "threw up" them.
The Marvel Island was a home to marvels. It was small, yet it always expanded to fit the population and powers of the marvels. However wars between the marvels made the marvels die quickly. Also, scientists eliminated any marvel they saw. When only the 8 original marvels were left alive, the people let the scientists take over Earth. The scientists turned out to be tryants. However, still scared of the marvels, the people allowed the scientists rule them. Some rebeled, and was called the Rebels. The marvels learned to cooperate. But it was too late. The race was dead.
More than 3 marvels can make an new marvel pod. There are infinate amount of powers for the marvel race. Below are listed all of them. Since this book is magical, the list will keep expanding.
All marvels are required to have 3 things: The Marvel Phone, which can call the Journey to pick them up, and do other amazing things. The Magical Book of Marvels is also required to have. Lastly, they are also required to have a permanent backpack. The backpack is on their back forever, there's no taking it off. It can hold infinite amount of things, while never getting heavy.
Now if we listed all the current powers of the Marvel, this chapter would be endless! So, I'm going to continue my adventure.
