Just like the Buddha who was depicted conversing with two Buddhas who came before him,Jesus has also,as taught in Christianity,conversed with Elijah and Moses.
Not forgetting that when Shakyamuni sat in the deer park,on a full moon night in the month of Wesak,he was tempted by Mara-a being in Buddhism who represents all forces antagonistic to those taught by the Buddha,which are,when a few is mentioned: Wealth and Luxury. This account parallels that of Jesus being tempted by Satan/The Devil when he offered him "The kingdoms of the world" but just like Buddha,he resisted.
Buddha,a short time before or after the temptation,took a bath in the Neranjara river,upon which the gates of heaven were opened and Gautama was blessed with a shower of fragrant flowers. Same way Jesus was baptised in the Jordan river and the appearance of a dove and a voice which proclaimed him the son of god.
