"So, Kim Chahee-ssi..." The reporter began while using a paper and pen with a recording device. A click was heard and the idol glanced at the expensive tip of his Parker ball-pen.
"For your information, I'm a licensed reporter from KBS world. I'd like to ask a few questions about your career with Blue Angels for promotional purposes which your management agreed upon."
She fixed her posture while sitting exhaling heavily.
"And as you know Mr. Kang-nim, I'm not really allowed to entertain any private interviews so I'd like to take this quickly as possible." She said putting her hands together.
The reporter nodded affirming.
"Kim Chahee-ssi, how's the growth of your career so far?" He started giving her a warm smile.
"It's good, Mr. Kang-nim. As a leader and a solo artist, it's a pleasure to have many opportunities at the same time. It's a tough job, however I always thought it was given to me because I'm capable and destined so I had to give my best at everything." He nodded continuously observing all her gestures. She seems confident. Her posture was perfect and her tone was very comfortable. Perhaps the company trained her well about manners and professionalism. Every idol does.
"I can see that you enjoy multi-tasking." He asked slightly making his tone different than the usual showing eagerness. Without hesitation, she immediately answered straight up.
"Of course! Though feeling tired will always be a part of it."
The reporter eyed him for a short while and the female felt that. Nonetheless, she kept her composure with firmness. Her answers are simple yet clever. He suddenly thought, 'This ain't it.'
"I see. I hope you stay healthy, Kim Chahee-ssi." He replied with a grin while she blinked smiling back. Mr. Kang continued searching for signs within her gestures. The conversation was starting to make things more intense. Without further ado, he proceeded with the next question.
He said it while constantly looking at her eyes, "I've read the agreements within your contract saying that you receive 50% of the share in sales profit. You must be receiving so much by now. How does it feel?"
She froze and started to feel slightly uncomfortable and the reporter can tell that with how she taps her high-heeled shoes. Meanwhile in her mind she was buffering still maintining her momentum.
"Is there something wrong, Chahee-ssi?" He asked with a questionning look. She immediately shook her head professionally.
"Uuh, nothing. I just remembered something. It actually feels good that I'm finally earning for my family."
"It seems that you're really fully loaded this month."
She chuckled and shook her head. "Yup. But I trust my company and I can see that they are handling everything smoothly. As long as I have my career then I won't be worrying about anything else. Summon me whenever they want, it's for my benefit and the company anyway."
'Why did she suddenly brought this up?' He silently thought closing his eyes.
"Um actually, I also have another urgent meet up today."
She acted quickly standing up and bowing in front of the reporter. "I'll be going now." She hurriedly went back to her vehicle. He observed everything until she went away from the moderate speed of her walk to how she tightly grips on her shoulder bag. Those were actually basic questions. However his only task for today is to read the body language and gestures of his interviewee. "Take one status: in denial."
