She could seemingly remember how she had enough of the agency that winter night in 2015. It was cold, yet the heated disagreement inside the training building could easily be felt. Mei has been starving herself for days and was about to break down, but she could care less about her tummy grumbling while she constantly argues with her abusive trainor.

"If you don't like our treatment, then go out and fucking quit!" The trainor exclaimed harshly. But the female no longer felt any pressure nor pain. After all, she's abandoned her dream of taking part of the agency a long time ago after all the mistreatments.

"We still have Hyeri, Chahee and the rest of the trainees. If you think so mighty of yourself just because you have good vocals, then let me tell you. We can go off without you, kid. It's your loss for not having the chance to debut."

"You want me to leave, so be it. Anyway, I'm done with this company's bullshit while giving other trainees some false hope."

"Language, young lady!" And while the woman bluntly ranted about her misbehavior that night, Mei was already initially planning to leave as soon as the official lineup is announced. With full rage, she left the practice room, slamming the sliding door out of frustration.

That was the first time she bravely stood for herself as a trainee of a tyrannic company. Chua Mei thought about these things while she is currently at the lobby of the Bighit building, waiting for her manager's cue for the next meeting with the private journalists. And if there's something really bothersome going on, it's her habit of clumsily roaming around when she gets impatient. And so she did as she stood up, looking at the captivating full moon of Seoul while deep thoughts take over her.

Sejin caught her walking back and forth by the window. He's seen the female at numerous occasions like this and finds it really strange and unusual. Even so, he cleared his throat to catch her attention. "Mei, It's time. The journalists are waiting in the conference room."

The female surprisingly looked back, and from there, reality hit through her.

"Great." Because another phase of her operation is about to begin. Just after her encounter with Park Jung Hoon, she decided to check out every real-life encounters of the people she knew living in this industry.

I thought I was alone.
