Chapter 3: Status: In a Relationship/ It's So Complicated

For Each day that pass it becomes harder for Damian to hide his secret. He always wanted to admit the truth to Kean and Logan hoping that they would accept him for who he is.

"Well someday Kean and Logan should know" Chris said

"Kean could kill me!" Damian exclaimed

"Kill you for what?!" Kean asked

They didn't know that Kean got in just in time to hear what chris and Damian said.

"Uhmmmmmm... Aaaaaaaa.... Uhmmmmmm... K... Kean, Oh God this is hard, but you should know this... I have been keeping it for quite some time now..." Damian

"Keeping what all this time???" Kean asked curiously

"I... I.... Kean I am... I am..."

"in love with me so I agreed to be his girlfriend" Samantha quickly exclaimed

"Damian and I are together for quite some time now..." Sam said

Kean and Damian both got shocked. "What?!" They said in chorus.

Kean felt so devastated and hurt. It hurts so  much for his heart was torn apart. He thought to himself that he should've been in Damian's position if only he had the courage to tell Sam how he really feel for her. But there's nothing he can do about it.

If only he knew the truth.

"Oh....oh... You're together" Kean said sadly

"I hope you understand Kean" samantha said

"Of course... Of course I do understand... You like each other how could I get mad about that" kean said sarcastically.

Kean wanted to cry but he thinks of his masculinity. He just said that he would go somewhere important. He was devastated. How could he lose the girl that he always loved.

If only he knew that Sam did it to hide Damian's secret.

Who would've thought that a handsome, basketball player, and civil engineer student could be a gay?

"thank you sammy dear... Thanks for saving me from despair... I thought it's my end. I could pretend being your boyfriend... It's not that difficult to do... Girl bonding time!!!" Damian said

"I thought you'd get mad at me..." Samantha answered

"You saved me why would I? Besides your idea is brilliant!" He praised

"thank you! Kean looks devastated though" She noticed Kean's strange look in his face.

"I know... One day I would have the courage to let him know the truth..." Damian promised

"Well let's just make him happy in some other way" Samantha said

"Right!!! After this, I'll give him to you... I know he's so into you Samantha... He loves you... And remember this... We're not really together so I won't mind you bonding with him" Damian assured her

"Thanks Damian, but we should keep in mind that we need to convince everyone that we're together" she answered

In just a week, Everyone found out about Damian and Samantha. Everyone got envious of a two. They seem to be a perfect couple. A heartthrob and the campus crush. Everyone in the university wanted to be in their position.

The basketball player and the cheer leader has been the campus favorite couple. Everyone look up to them. If only they knew what is their secret.

Well the two did their best to convince everyone. The acted so sweet together. They hold hands while walking or Damian would put his hand over Sam's shoulder. Then, they would share drinks. Sam watch Kean play basketball. And many more to convince everyone that they are together.

"You're the man dude! I would've courted Sam for myself!" Logan greeted

"Gieeez Logan, I'm really a lucky guy" then he placed his arm on Sam's shoulder

Kean is still devastated but he still managed to accept what just happened. He just focused on his studies.

"congratulations... By the way I should be going now, I have to study well for exams" kean greeted

"I'll come with you... You'll be at the library right? " Sam said

"You should be with your boyfriend" he said in a gloomy tone

"Damian would go to his class in a few minutes" she said

"Come on Kean, I won't mind... She's you're best friend first..." Damian said

"Okay fine" kean agreed

Samantha thought to herself

"If only you know Kean how much I wanted to be with you, it's you that I have always loved. I love you Kean. I do"
