"Why are you so quiet Kean?" Samantha asked worriedly.
"I'm just thinking of our exams" Kean answered
"You're the most intelligent person that I know, what makes you so worried?" She said
Kean smiled immediately turned his face back to serious look. He seem gloomy. He remained quiet on the rest of their way to the library.
At the entrance, he opened the glass door and did not hold it for Sam. Such an unusual gesture for him to do. He walked fast towards the humanitarian section.
"Hey wait!" Sam shouted, the librarian reprimanded her.
Sam held Kean's hand and whispered "I said wait up Kean!"
"What do you want?" Kean whispered back
"Talk to me! You act so strange after Damian and I admitted that we're together" she demanded
"What do you want me to say? I said Congratulations already and oh, I'm happy for the two of you, best wishes" he stated sarcastically.
Samantha got fed up with Kean strange acts. She got a hint that Kean may really be into her.
"What did I do" she said
Sam held on Kean's hand tighter and she looked at his eyes hoping that Kean could read his mind.
"You're the want that I want Kean" she thought to herself.
Kean struggled to let go but she only hold on to him tighter. He gave her the angry eyes look. "let go" he said
"Not until you tell me why you're acting so strange" she demanded
Kean held her other hand and pulled her out of the library. He took her to the garden where no one is around. He looked at the different corners of the garden to make sure that nobody is around.
"You really do like Damian?" He asked
"Uhmmm... He's my boyfriend I must like him to say yes to him" she said sarcastically
"You really want me to tell you why I'm acting strange lately?" He asked
"Yes!" She said loudly
"Well I can show you better than I can tell you" he said
The innocent sam looked confused as Kean grabbed her hand and pulled her. Next thing she knows, Kean is holding her face and he kissed her lips. A tear rolled from Kean's right eye.
Samantha was shocked and couldn't believe what just happened.
"Now you know!" Kean said
"Why didn't you tell me" She asked as tears roll down her eyes.
"Because I fear of you rejecting me" Kean
"I never should've started the pretense if only I know" Samantha stated
"Pretense" Kean asked her
Sam bit her lip. She got tensed. She never should've said it in the first place. Now the secret is at risk of being revealed.
