"Samantha Sy, what pretense?" He asked once more
"Kean, uhm... Kean... " she mumbled
"Samantha!?"
"Damian... We're not really together... I just said that we are to protect his secret"
"Secret?! What secret?! He's my best friend we swore that we will not hide anything"
"He doesn't want to but he's afraid of being rejected by you"
"Why? What's that secret? Samantha please tell me... I swear I would understand"
"But I'm not suppose to tell"
"Sam please"
"He's... Damian... He's"
"He's what?"
"Damian is gay" Chris entered the scene
"What?!" Kean got surprised
"Damian is a gay... And he hid it because he's afraid that you and Logan would reject him. You have expressed how you hated gays that's why he did not tell you but Kean he's your best friend. You should accept him despite being gay." Chris explained to him.
Samantha and Chris told Kean everything. They helped him accept what has become if his best friend. Well, fortunately he had an open mind upon the issue. For him, as long as Damian does not show his soft side that much he would't mind.
They knew that Damian should know that Kean already found out about his secret. Logan should also be aware of this so he wouldn't find out about it from other people.
They planned on how they would tell Damian and Logan about everything.
Sam planned to have a mini party just for the 5 of them. There they decided to think of a game that would make everyone speak of the truth. No other than the "Don't tell a lie" game. Chris owns a lie detector which measures the heart rate, respiratory rate and the production of sweat. They talked to Logan about it and made him understand same way that they made Kean understand.
First to be on a lie detector test is none other than Kean.
"Who would ask the question first?" Samantha asked the group.
"Oh, oh, I've got a question!" Chris said
"Okay Chris let's hear it" Kean Dared
"Alright, Mr. Kean Lim, have you ever fallen in love with someone?" He asked
"Yes" he answered
Then the lie detector performed it's function. After a minute they got an answer.
"He's telling..." Sam said
"The TRUTH" she continued
"Okay next question!... Have you kissed that person?" Logan asked
"yes!" Kean answered happily
"Whoooooooooah! " The guys cheered
"Did you like it?" Sam asked swiftly
"Of course" he answered happily once more. His answer made Sam smile.
"Hey who's that girl? Tell us!" Damian demanded
"Sorry the rule is 3 questions per person only" Chris said.
"What?! Unfair you didn't say about that rule" Damian contradicted
"Sorry bro! To make it up to you, you try the detector next!" Chris said
"Go babe!" Sam cheered then she looked at Kean and gave him a slight nod.
"Okay first question!... Am I your first love?" Sam asked
"Woah that's tough Sammy! Go Damian, answer it" Logan cheered
"YES" he answered
After a minute chris looked at the lie detector and found out that...
"the detector says... LIE!" Chris anounced
"Awwwwww.... Sam, now I'll ask him next... Do we know who your first love is?" Kean asked
Chris sweat profusely and had a dry throat. It's like he couldn't answer the question.
"No" he once again answered.
After a minute another LIE was detected.
"Awwwww men! Tell us the truth! That's unfair... There should be no secrets!... Now that you got 2 lies you should have a dare!..." Logan said
"I know why don't you tell us your deepest darkest secret! Something that you have not told us!" Kean said then he looked at Sam.
"Deepest darkest secret?" He said nervously. He sweat more and it's as if something is stocked in his throat.
"Yeah! What's that secret that you have not told us" Logan followed up
There has been a dead silence in the entire room for a few minutes.
Damian looked at Chris and Sam but they couldn't look at him in his eyes. They chose to focus their sights on different directions.
"Alright, alright... I'm not a straight guy okay... Don't worry! I'll leave and never be with you guys again... I'm sorry" he confessed to the group
"We know" Logan said "and we're not telling you to leave" he continued
"Why didn't you tell us?" Kean asked
"I was so afraid to admit it... I'm afraid that you might reject me and end our friendship" Damian answered
"Hey you're our best friend! " Kean uplifted his spirit
They all gave him a warm hug and told him that they accept him for who he is.
"And oh... We got something to admit" Kean said
"We?" Logan asked
"Yes, we..." Sam added
They figured out on what was happening to the two. Damian offered a way to tell everyone how they broke up. After a month everyone found out about their "break up".
Finally Sam and Kean are free to express their love for each other. Well not that much. They waited for quite some time to go on a date.
After 3 months Kean and Sam finally dated exclusively. Fortunately were accepted. Damian made it known to all that their past relationship was a misunderstanding. Sam lived Kean all along. Only the 4 knew his dark secret.
