Walking down the hallway from his grandfather's room,Taehyung smiled at Baekhyun as the older vampire approached him.

"How did he look?",Baekhyun asked with concern laced within his voice.

"He looked more or less alright.... Seems to need some rest though...",Taehyung trailed.

The older gave him a soft nod.

The blonde's eyes brightened all of a sudden as he chided,-

"Oh and he said that he is happy to see me after so many years!"

"Ofcourse he is! He used to worry about you a lot,Taehyung!",The general stated the fact with a warm smile.

The younger beamed at that.

"So....!",Baekhyun sighed.

-"Would you like to inspect how your kingdom is working or....?"

"I would...",Taehyung stated firmly.

"Hal-Abbeoji has given me this throne because he somehow trusted me,right? I can't break his trust...."

"Come on...!",he ushers the older to stride with him towards the kings office.

After a brief moment of silence, Baekhyun faked a cough and cleared his throat; probably to gain the younger's attention.

"I was...",he paused for a second;contemplating in his mind if he should utter his thoughts or not.

"You look tensed hyung.... What is it?!",Taehyung asked;unsure of why he was feeling that he shouldn't have insisted the other.

He somehow felt the conversation was not going to turn into a pleasant one.

"Look Taehyung; Don't get me wrong..... I'm... I'm really glad that you brought your mate along with you.. Its his mate's kingdom;he has the right to live here;but...... The other one....? Taehyung,you...... You allowed a Southerner to slip out of his imprisonment?!",he exclaimed.

"Namjoon is Seokjinah's personal guard. Seokjinah needed someone to look after him in my absence and besides that,Namjoon is his old friend too; so we chose him for his safety; that's it....",the younger muttered his answer in a single breath.

-"And....he isn't a prisoner... None of them are prisoners apart from Southerner's Queen...."

-"Still.... You should be more cautious about them! We don't know when they would start a revolt against you, Tae-"

Taehyung's huff stopped Baekhyun in the midst of his concerned thoughts.

-"I trust them,Baek-hyung! They know everything about my past..... They know what their Queen had done to us... I believe they would-"

"But they believed your loyalty too!
Southerner's Queen trusted on you too,Kim Taehyung....",The older snapped.

Taehyung stopped at his tracks abruptly.

The general let out a deep,apologetic sigh.

"Listen Taehyung..... I'm not telling you to doubt on them....but trusting on them blindly is not a good choice either;You know I'd never give you any useless advice...",he mumbled as he ducked down his head.
