Happy (Very Belated) Mothers Day

I can't believe I forgot to write this, holy shit

Waking up, Izuku checks the calendar once again. Taking a deep inhale, he walks into the bathroom to take a shower.

As Izuku grabs a sweater and some pants, his phone rings.

*bip*

"Hello?"

"Hello sweetie" his mother's sweet voice comes through.

"Hi mom, I'll be there at 10 okay?" He says, knowing that his anxious mother will worry for him more then she should be.

"Okay Izuku, I'm going to make your favourite for lunch okay?" His mom says, a slight screech of the chair is heard, assumingly, she's standing up.

"Thank you mom, see you later" Izuku says, fondness showing in his voice.

"See you later Izu" The call ends.

Izuku dresses up and grabs his wallet and phone, and head out.

Izuku rings the bell and hear his moms footsteps coming towards the door.

The door opens, and a big hug is given to Izuku.

"Oh Izu baby, How much I've missed you so much sweetheart" Inko says, burying her face into her, much more taller now, sons chest.

"Hey mom, how are you?" He asks, gently pushing her off.

"I've been great, come in, I made Katsudon for you" She says, walking in and off into the dining room.

As time goes past, the sky gets darker. The moment seems shorter. But the memories will remain.

As Izuku walks to the door after spending an excessive amount of time with his mom, he turns back around.

He hugs her once again.

"I love you mom" he says softly, not wanting to let go.

"I love you too sweetie" his mom says, giving her son one of more squeeze before letting go.

As they wave their goodbyes, Inko watches as her son walks off, a smile on her face, glad of what her son has become.

This was short but here's a little skit on how I realised I had to make atleast a short chapter about Mother's Day.

"Shit" I said, colour draining from my face as I look at the date.

It was past Mother's Day and I completely forgot to make a chapter on it, I stared at my gadget, dread coming over me.

"Dear god, why do I get myself into situations like this"
