they were in our room for days not leaving at all at the end of the day there was always a human outside that we would share however the day came when we would finally have to go out.

she was in there shared wardrobe getting ready when aro walked in putting his arms around her waist, he held her for a while, he knew she wasnt feeling right today he just didnt know why and she didnt know if she was going to tell him or the other kings.

"my love are you alright" he said
"Im fine aro" she smiled
"i know when your lying love but i will not push you, im here when your ready to talk" he said
she smiled and kissed him and then we walked out of the room. they got to the throne room where everyone was and they all looked at us, the queen skipped in and kissed caius and marcus before sitting on aros throne, he would either sit on the arm or stand up front, today however he lifted me up and sat her on his knee, the other knew not to touch either of us considering we spent days reajusting to being mates.

they all sat in silence for a bit before the doors opened revealing nessie, so looked at her and squealed and attacked her in a hug
"ooo ive missed you auntie Gwennie"
"and i missed you too my little star"
"mummy said its Alexanders birthday" she said
"that it is little star" the queen said
"mummy said if you let us we can let go of balloons for him" she said and  gwen smiled
"i think he'd like that why dont dont you go and tell your mum to get the balloons ready little star"
"ok" she said and ran out

she stood up and was by the door when caius asked "whos alexander"
"my twin brother" she said and walked out. by the time she was at marcus' room the kings, jane, alec. dimitri and felix
"mum" jane went to say something else but she held up her hand and walked over to the window and looked out at the town
"my brother was fifteen when he died, we lived with dad as bella lived with mum but we went to go see her and one of her boyfriends came to pick us, he was so drunk that he couldnt even drive straight, Alex tried to get him to stop driving so one of us could or so he could sober up, but he wouldnt stop and started to drive faster and faster until we crashed, i remember alex covering me and then i blacked out. when i woke up i was on the ground and mums boyfriend was dead and alex was no where to be seen, they told me that some animals had taken his body. that man killed my best friend and my brother" she said tears in her eyes
Aro was touching me and she let him see everything but he did something that confused the queen he looked to felix
"go to denmark tell the mantra coven to come here" he said and felix nodded before speeding away
"i do not care for your silly games today aro, i am going with my sister to let balloons off for my brother" she said and walked out, she got all the way back to the throne room before she broke down, carlisle was walking past when he heard her sobs and walked in and saw her on the ground, he sped to her and sat next to her, he knew that she didnt need a sister or a lover in that moment she needed a father and he would be that for her.

he pulled her into his arms and held her as she sobbed into his shoulder, the kings walked in and saw what was happening but none of them were angry they were happy that carlisle was bringing their queen comfort and knew there relationship was purely a father daughter one. they walked around them and sat on their thrones and listened to carlisle
"do you remember what i told you all those years ago when you came back to forks after that accident" he asked her softly
"you told me that those we love dont go away. they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still watching over us making sure we're protected till the end of time" she said, he nodded and looked her
"you brother loved you very much and nothing can change that not even death little one, he wil always be remembered and will live in through you, your sister and your niece" he said
"thank you carlisle" she whispered
"you dont have to thank me, your like a daughter to me i dont want to see you in pain" he said and kissed her forehead
"will you come with me while i talk to him" she asked scared hed say no
"of course, tell you mates where your going first" he said and stood up
she stood along with him and looked to her mates "im going to the ocean" she said and her mates nodded
"look after her carlisle" caius said
he nodded and they sped away

once they got to the ocean carlisle stood back and let her talk to her brother, she sat on the edge of nthe cliff and looked out at the ocean this used to be his favourite place
"so much has happened since the last time we spoke, i moved i stopped travelling, bella has a kid, shes married, i met carlisle again and im kind of dead, im a vampire and have three loving boyfriends that would give me the world if i let them, but no matter what something is always missing and ive realised that its you, your funny laugh and your ability to make any situation funny. i miss you big brother. sometimes i wish it was me that had died in that crash, you actually had a lide in front of you, a job and a life im havent doen anything but travel. i hope where ever you are brother that you are happy and i hope one day i see you again" both carlisle and gwen were unaware that someone else was listening.

they both sped back to the caste thinking that everything was going to be as they left it but how wrong they both were.
