The pain was dull. It wasn't my fault that they had taken me to their room. But it was my fault that I let it happen. That's what he says. He didn't stop until he was fulfilled. He undid the bindings and shoved me forward. No one will find me until late tonight when patrol is making their rounds.
Our bond is broken. If the alpha knew he was doing this to me, he would lose his title. I didn't care though. He left me there. I saw multiples before blacking out. When I woke up, there were two tongues licking my back. I didn't move. One stopped. I was nudged. It hurt to open my eyes.
I groaned. I was nudged again and again. I hurt too badly to get up. One laid down next to me. I didn't move until I felt a hand on my jaw. I was hurting too much to care. "She's going to need medical attention." The fur disappeared from my side. "James wouldn't do this." "I know. He wouldn't order it either." I felt my hair being moved.
"Let's get her up." The first one said. I whimpered when they tried. They stopped. "One of us should just go get some help." The second one said. "I'll stay." The first one said. I heard running and wanted to moved my head. "Don't move sweetheart." The baritone voice said. I could barely breathe because of the pain.
Multiple sets of running feet could be heard. I wanted to get up. "Shh. Don't move sweetheart." I didn't know I was moving until something was said. I felt something cool against my back. I was rolled over onto what I thought was a stretcher. "How long was she out here?" I heard someone ask.
"Don't know. We went for a run and found her unconscious on her stomach." I felt the cool air of the infirmary. They rolled me over again. I felt my hair moved away from my face. "I tried to open my eyes. They hurt from the light. I sighed. "Is it possible to turn the lights down?" A deep voice asked. The lights were dimmed. My eyes felt like they were glued shut.
A cool cloth was applied to both of them. I barely opened them. A hand reached towards my face. I shied away. "Shh. Your alright." I stopped as my vision sharpened. It was one of the brothers. He moved to finish cleaning my eyes. I let him.
The doors slammed open. I could tell who it was by the scent and the power radiating. "Who did this?" He nearly yelled. "Who would do this to a female wolf in your pack without your permission?" The deeper voiced brother asked.
The one in front of me was looking towards the door. "Would you like to discuss this in my office?" James asked. "My brother will stay here with her." The door opened then closed. The brother that stayed behind held up the wash cloth he had and cleaned my face. I smiled towards him.
"This may sting." Someone else in the room said. I winced when something was poured onto my skin. "Going to let it air dry and see if it will heal up before we do anything farther." The door was opened and closed. "You ok?" He asked. I nodded slightly. "Can you tell me who did this?" He asked.
He grabbed a tissue. "Sorry sweetpea. Too harsh?" He asked as he dabbed around my eyes. "Have you found your mate yet?" He asked. I nodded. "Do you want to tell me who it is?" He asked. "He doesn't want me." I said. "I bet if he did, this wouldn't be happening. Am I correct?" He asked. I nodded.
He sighed. "Don't worry mine didn't want me either. Thinks the alpha title is took good for her. She didn't want that kind of responsibility." He said. I furrowed my brows. "My brother and I run our pack. He's more of the war leader and diving head first into the situation without thinking while I think before I jump to conclusions and strategize." He said.
I sighed. "Does your back hurt still?" He asked. I shook my head. He ran his fingers through my hair. "That's good." He said just before the doors opened. I wanted to turn my head towards the doors. The other brother came into view. He knelt down where I could see his face. "Sweetheart. Would you like to go with us back to our pack?" He asked.
"Your alpha okayed it, all you have to do is heal up and pack your stuff and we will be on our way." He said.
