I sat in a comfortable silence next to Ulric. He refuses to acknowledge me and refuses to care about me. His excuse is, she is not my mate. "Until I hear it from my true mate that she does not want me, then I will care about her." That was his excuse. Since Daivat marked me, everything has calmed at the moment.
I watched as he clicked on his keyboard. The other two may not like it when they see he's on his laptop instead of taking care of me. I got up and went upstairs to get a shower. I hit the top step and felt dizzy. Then continued. I got to my bedroom and had to stop myself from falling.
I got a bath instead with patchouli and tea tree oil. The suds were to the top and threatened to spill over. I purred enjoying the scents. A knock came to the door. "In here." I called out. The bubbles hid my body. "Looks like you got comfortable." I could tell by the scent that it was Kedar. I moved to laying on my stomach.
"I would ask to join you, but you know who will get jealous." He said. "Isn't Ulric taking a trip to James' pack for a week at least?" I asked. He nodded. I lifted one of my feet out of the water. It's harder for non mates to form a relationship when they were rejected by their own.
"Just wait Inslie. He'll ask to see her and get a cursing of a lifetime." He said. I laid my head on the side of the tub. He ran his fingers through my hair. The door opened without a knock. "Uh huh. Took all the hot water." Ulric said. "You know it replenishes quickly." Kedar said. Ulric flipped him off.
He stepped into the shower that hides everything down south from view and stripped. "Real professional." Kedar said. "Looks just like yours." Ulric said. I finished my bath right as Ulric was getting out. "So when do you leave?" Kedar asked as he leaned on the counter with his arms crossed over his chest. "Tonight. No f-ing." Ulric said.
"Wasn't planning on it. Might snuggle though." Kedar said. Ulric gave him a look. For those wondering how I can tell them apart, Kedar has a different scent and has more of a wild gleam to his eyes. Ulric has no spark and a threatening look in his eyes. He had a towel around his waist as he exited the bathroom.
Kedar left too letting me get out. I drained the tub, dried off and got dressed in some underwear and a tee shirt that was too big. I went over to the bed and crawled in. It may be huge, but I can definitely tell where I am in it. I put two pillows on either side of me and pulled the covers up over my head.
As I fell asleep, two bodies got in on either side of me. "He just left." Daivat said from in front of me. They sandwiched me between their bodies. I stretched before purring lightly. They both tightened their holds. One put his hands on my butt while the other had his hands on my stomach. They had matching physiques and warmth to spare.
I felt like something was missing though. Maybe we'll figure it out later. I fell asleep before they could move an inch more.
A door slamming woke me up. I was halfway laying on top of Kedar while Daivat was laying halfway on my back. Thundering on the stairs could be heard. I moved to beside Kedar right before the door busted open. "Up. Both of you. Now." Ulric yelled in a booming voice. Both Kedar and Daivat were groggy. I moved away from them.
"Like you didn't hear me coming up here." Ulric said. "No. What? When did you get back?" Kedar asked. "Right now. Right after I was rejected." Ulric said. I got up out of bed going to the bathroom. No use trying to sleep now. I used the bathroom before washing my hands and going to the closet. I closed the door knowing the triplets were now in full argument. I pulled some ripped jeans on and took the shirt off. I put a bralette that matched my underwear on then an off the shoulder top.
I found some heels before putting them on. I'm used to the pain of heels by now. I exited the closet going down to the kitchen as I threw my hair up in a messy bun. I started making breakfast for them since I wasn't hungry and they came downstairs to argue closer to me. I turned the burner off and went into their view.
"That's mean." Kedar said directly towards me. "You bought it. I could stop cooking and make you guys finish it while I go find something I love to watch on tv and hide a laptop." I said looking at my nails. "You wouldn't." Ulric said. "Then stop arguing at the top of your lungs about someone they told you would reject you." I told him.
He stood their shocked. Yeah I went there. They know what it's like to be rejected. I let it simmer after countless nights crying my eyes out over the one that was supposed to be mine. They don't know the abuse I went through, to see what it feels like to be accepted by someone else.
I feel that every day that I'm alive. I turned the burner on and finished cooking. When I was done, I grabbed the remote from next to Kedar and went to the other side of the couch. I turned one of my shows on before sitting on the remote. I'm not playing the happy card.
Kedar and Daivat can tell something is wrong. Ulric just sees me being mean to them. I don't care what he thinks. He can get over himself. The other two have accepted that they can have me as their mate. Ulric doesn't see it yet.
