Natsume The Youkai God Prologue

A/N: Hey readers, it's Seiyuus-are-awesome with a completely new book! (≧▽≦) Hope you guys will enjoy this crossover of Natsume Yuujinchou and Nurarihyon no Mago. I love both of these animes but I didn't seem to find that many fanfictions so I'm writing one.

Also a couple of disclaimers. As you guys can probably tell from the summary, Natsume is extremely overpowered. If you guys are wondering how overpowered, it is like on the same level as Seimei. Yup very overpowered.

Anyways actual disclaimer is that I do not own Natsume Yuujinchou, it is owned by Midorikawa Yuki.

I also don't own Nurarihyon no Mago, it is owned by Shiibashi Hiroshi.

Now let's get into the story since I don't want to bore you guys, which I probably did already. But don't worry this will be shorter next chapter.

On a normal day

"Nyanko-sensei!!! Come back here with that manjū!"

"Not in a million years Natsume! This manjū was made to be eaten by me." Saying that, the chubby cat quickly put the manjū in his mouth, savoring the chewy texture along with the sweet red bean paste.

While the cat was eating the manjū, Natsume finally caught up, breathing heavily with his hands at his knees. After composing himself he angrily told the eating cat "How hungry are you to take the manjū I bought for Touko-san and Shigeru-san? You better pay me ba-..." He stopped what he was about to say when he felt a familiar coldness creeping up his spine. This was the presence of a powerful youkai awakening.

It was obvious that Nyanko-sensei felt the same presence. He was in his true form, obviously on edge. Natsume said in a quiet voice "Hagoromo Gitsune…"

Hearing the name, the nyanko widened his eyes and asked him "How do you know that name?"

Natsume smiled and said "I've been waiting for this day for so long... Nyanko-sensei I have a secret that I haven't told anyone yet. Do you want me to tell you?"

Nyanko nodded and got ready for anything that Natsume might say. Seeing the response, Natsume continued "Nyanko-sensei, I'm actually not a human. I'm a half youkai half celestial."

Nyanko-sensei shouted out in response "Impossible! I can't smell anything other than human from you."

Natsume smiled and said "That's because I'm using up all my power to suppress my youki so that I look human. It's kitsune youjutsu (fox youkai technique). Reiko-san used it in the past too."

Nyanko-sensei was shocked at the truth that was being told to him now but he decided to believe it since Natsume was the one telling him. When he looked at Natsume, he saw an expression of resentment that he understood was for Hagoromo Gitsune or something related. Natsume then said "Nyanko-sensei, let's go tell Touko-san that we are leaving on a trip. We need to go to Ukiyoe right away..."

Meanwhile at Ukiyoe in the Nura mansion

The Supreme Commander of Youkai, Nurarihyon, sat in his room, peacefully drinking his tea. After a sip, he said with his signature mischievous smile "Hagoromo Gitsune, you chose a bad time to reincarnate. You've got 3 powers after your head. Even so I'm excited to see Reiko's grandson. I haven't seen him in a while…"

Back with Natsume

Natsume was telling Touko-san that he was going to go on a trip and that he wasn't going to come back for a while. Touko-san seemed very worried but Natsume reassured her that he was going to be fine and that he was going to call her when he had the chance. With that he left.

Nyanko-sensei asked Natsume if he needed anything else than the Book of Friends but Natsume shook his head. After getting far away from the Fujiwara household and into a forest, Natsume took a deep breath to concentrate. Nyanko-sensei could feel the immense power welling up in the 'human' boy that he took interest in. After an instant, a blinding light enveloped Natsume. After the light dissipated, what the Nyanko saw was a Natsume but with white fox ears, gorgeous nine tails, slightly more golden eyes, and a golden aura. He wore a beautiful golden white kimono with a vermillion haori.

The only thing Nyanko could do witnessing such a beautiful creature was to widen his eyes. He was brought back to reality when Natsume said "Nyanko-sensei let's go. We'll fly there." With that, Natsume jumped up into the air and started floating. He waited for Nyanko-sensei and then flew at a very fast speed towards the Nura mansion.

While flying, Natsume couldn't stop thinking about what the Third Generation of the Nura Clan is like. He was also excited to meet Nurarihyon for the first time since a long time.

A/N: Done with the prologue! Sorry it was so rushed and all but I just wanted to get into the main storyline as quickly as possible. I'll do better on the chapters to come so please bare with me. I hope you guys will continue to enjoy my story.
