Natsume the Youkai God Chapter 1

A/N: Hello readers! I am back with a new chapter. Hope you guys enjoyed the last chapter. Anyways on with this chapter since I don't want to bore you guys.

At the Nura mansion

Karasu Tengu was in obvious panic. He was restlessly flying around calling for the Supreme Commander. "Soudaishō (Supreme Commander)!!!"

The Supreme Commander walked out of his room clearly annoyed. He said "What is it Karasu Tengu? You don't have to keep shouting for me to hear you."

The Karasu Tengu flew towards the Supreme Commander and said "We have a huge problem on our hand Soudaishō! There's a very powerful youkai flying towards this mansion!"

The Supreme Commander chuckled and asked "Is it a nine-tailed fox with light brown hair?"

The Karasu Tengu nodded and said "Yes but how did you know Soudaishō?"

The Supreme Commander chuckled again and said "Then don't worry. He is the grandson of a friend that I know very well. Is he closeby?"

The Karasu Tengu answered "Yes, he should be here any second now…" This was when Natsume landed in front of the gates to the Nura mansion.

The youkai of the Nura clan were on edge because there was an unfamiliar powerful youkai in front of them. Natsume smiled and said to himself "I should be able to unleash my full power here." With that the youkai there felt the entity's youki increase. When they looked at the youkai again, they saw that the clothes he wore changed.

The plain golden white kimono from before had branches on its hem that were vibrant with green leaves. The branches looked as if they were swaying in the wind, dancing to the tunes of nature. Also at the hem, the golden white faded into an extravagant gold.

On his vermillion haori appeared golden embroidery of chrysanthemums in partial bloom. The chrysanthemums looked as if they were real because they were also swaying.

He was absolutely stunning. All the youkai were in awe at the beauty of the being in front of them. They were brought back to reality when Natsume asked with a smile "Can I see the Supreme Commander?"

The youkai refused saying that they were not going to let anyone suspicious near their Commander. Kubinashi got into a fighting stance with his signature strings.

Nyanko-sensei, in his true form growled and said to Natsume "Hey Natsume they're annoying. Let me eat them."

Natsume put out his hand and said "No Nyanko-sensei. Don't hurt them." He then looked over to the youkai and said with a sincere smile "Please let me see your Commander. I'm here for an important reason..."

The youkai didn't know what to do since they couldn't let a suspicious youkai into the mansion, but they wanted to believe the youkai in front of them. They were thinking when the Supreme Commander along with Karasu Tengu came to the gates.

The Supreme Commander told the youkai "Let this youkai in. He is the grandson of a friend of mine." With that the youkai let the mysterious youkai in. Nyanko-sensei humphed and turned back into his maneki neko form. He then followed Natsume inside.

Once inside, the Supreme Commander led Natsume to a room where they could talk. After a while, Wakana-san came into the room with the tea. Natsume thanked her sincerely, to which Wakana-san responded "No problem, and you don't have to be so polite."
