-Chapter One.
Kaylee Scott. 12 Year's Old.
''Lizzie, what are we doing here? I wanna go home. It's scary here.'' I whinned to my older cousin Lizzie. She was suppose to be baby-sitting me while my parents were away for the weekend visiting my sick grandmother. But instead we were in a dark alley where it's was creepy and gross.
''Just chill out for awhile, okay kid? And later, I'll buy you an ice-cream cone.'' Lizzie said as she patted my head. I swatted it away. I wasn't five. But I didn't like this place. It gave me a bad feeling.
''I just wanna go home..'' I mumbled. I sunk against the brick wall. I was bored and cold.
''You're here. Didn't think you would show for a minute.'' A man had walked into the alley. It was too dark to see his face. The fact that he was wearing black didn't help either. He was ..mysterious.
''I said I'd be here, didn't I? You got it or not, Zep?'' Lizzie asked him. Zep ..what a weird name.
''Yes, ma'am.'' Zep handed her something in a plastic bag and Lizzie handed him some waded up money. I knew whatever was happening was bad. I didn't know what, but it was bad.
I head a loud noise. It sounded like police sirens. Then I saw a flash of red and blue lights.
I heard Zep curse and Lizzie grabbed my hand. She slipped the little baggie into my pocket.
She jumped over a fence that blocked off the alley. Zep was no where in sight. Lizzie reached for my hand.
''Stop!'' Someone yelled. I tried to climb the fence but someone ripped me away. I was shaking with fear. All I wanted was to be home safe with my parents. I was a good little girl.
''Shit! Kaylee!'' Lizzie screamed. Her eyes were big with terror. Tears streamed down my face.
''Lizzie!'' I yelled as a man took me away. He didn't see Lizzie. But I did. I saw her run away. Leaving me.
And then that's when I saw Zep too. He was hiding in the shadows, almost invisible. Well, he was too the cop holding me.
I wanted him to help me. I looked at him with pleading eyes. But he did nothing. I watched him slip away into the shadows. The man put me into his car.
''Look what I found.'' He said to another man.
''I swear they get younger every year.'' The man said with disgust.
The man pulled Lizzie's bag out of my pocket. ''You're in a lot of trouble, Little Missy.''
I gulped. I didn't get in trouble. I was good. I was good..
-Zep Linley. Pov
I watched as they took the kid. Typical of Liz to give the weed to the kid. What a bitch. Did she realize how much she just fucked up the kids life? I ran after Liz. She was walking down the street.
''What the hell was that!?'' I yelled at her. She kept her head down and didn't look at me.
''Get lost Zep. You got your money, so don't fuckin' cry about shit that doesn't concern you.'' She said in a low voice.
''What about the kid? Huh? You just gonna leave her with the cops? What about her parents? Do you have any idea what you're doing?'' I screamed at her
She turned on me, ''Leave me alone! I'll deal with it,okay!'' She walked faster and I stopped. There was nothing I could do for the little girl.

''Has the Jury reached a decision?'' The D.A. asked.
''Yes, We Find The Suspect , Kaylee Scott, Guilty.''
The words felt a blow to the stomach. Like I couldn't breath. I was going to Juive. I was 12 years old and I was going to Juive. All because of Lizzie. It was all her fault. Yet no one believed me. I hugged my mother and kissed her cheek. She was crying. I didn't want to let her go. I told her I loved her and did the same to my father. And then I was dragged away..
