Next morning, I was called to attend a meeting. All ambassadors were looking at me. Some with amusement, some with distrust and some with hatred. Then Lexa entered. Everyone bowed before her. I stood and gave her a slight bow.

The meeting starts with one of her ambassador questioning why I was there. Lexa replied that it was me who defeated the mountain people, killed Pauna, a giant fish. But my excellence in healing has earned me the post of her advisor.

He again chimed how they can trust me. Then Indra replied that I have healed reapers and many others. Another one asked why all mountain people were not killed. This time I replied that only who are innocent were pardoned. Also 50 guilty mountain people has been handed over to them. One of them told that many of their innocent people have given their lives by mountain people.

I told them that mountain people had been defeated, their home and security destroyed, acid fog disabled, 90% of their holdings seized but most importantly those who are pardoned had never used blood or didn't support the idea. Then I told them, if one of Commander's 12 ambassadors betrayed her, was it fair to punish everyone. Some still looked unconvinced but Lexa changed the topic.

One of the ambassadors told that in his clan, a new type of disease has started. Healers are unavailable to find out the cure. I asked what were the problems in this disease. He told me that they couldn't walk or do any work. They didn't have any visible problems. I asked how many are affected. He told me that 22. I asked if they are related. He told me that they are from same tent.

I asked him if I could see them. He said, they were here. I told them to bring one of them in front of everyone. One man was brought. He was sitting in a chair. I came closer to him and without warning, hit him with my electric stick. He jumped from the seat and was standing on his foot. Everyone including Lexa was speechless.

I asked why he was pretending to be paralyzed. He just looked down and started trembling. I looked at Lexa and told her that they didn't have any disease. They were pretending so that they won't have to work. Lexa and others were furious. They were imprisoned.

The meeting was about to stop when one of the ambassadors stood and told me that they won't forgive the mountain people. If I wanted to save them I would have to cure a disease that takes thousands of lives every year. I agreed.
