Lexa walked straight to my parents. She told them that all her life, she was taught that love is weakness. But still she couldn't stop loving me from the moment she had seen me. Her life is full of danger, politics. She has to think of her people before herself. She didn't want to bring risk for me. But she couldn't stop from loving me, or getting love for me. If we want to stay together both of us will have to face tough challenges. No matter what happens she would fight for me. Because love is strength. But she wanted to know from my parents were they willing to accept our dangerous life! If they agree only then we would have a future. Otherwise we would remain as ally.
My parents looked at me. I couldn't look them. I knew how dangerous our love life would be! How many obstacles we would have to face! But I knew only one thing, I loved her. And always will love her. My parents could understand my unsung desire. They agreed. They said they would support us no matter what happens. And Lexa did what I had never thought. She hugged my mom. My mom patted her and asked to look after me and herself.
I was speechless the whole time. What were my two loving ladies doing! But yes our love story started. A story that would face every obstacles, criticisms and hardships. But we have to survive. We have to protect each other and our families and friends.
So we became lovers without proposing each other. And that night was full of anticipation for future. But we were informed by the grounders the process of getting married to a heda. My fight starts. But until I win I can't talk to Lexa in private. I have to prove my worth to get her hand.
