(the society. season one.)

WEST HAM, Connecticut is for the rich and entitled. If you don't fit in, then you don't belong. If it's ugly, then it's gone. The wealthy town of a little over 750 residents was nothing short of what you would expect from any small town in America filled with lawyers.

THE SCOTTS moved to West Ham, Connecticut a little over five months ago. Moving from sunny California to a nothing state like Connecticut wasn't easy for a family like the Scotts. You see, Esmeralda and Alex Scott have twins. A boy and a girl. Both have lived a very privileged lifestyle. A big mansion in The Hills, going to the best schools money can buy. But the girl, Elena, well she found something else money could buy. And she bought a lot of it.

ASK ANYONE at West Ham High about Elena Scott and they'll tell you she's nothing short of a bitch. She's cruel, she's cold, and she's any other synonym for the word rude. While her brother quickly climbed the social pyramid at their new High School, Elena found herself at the bottom. Avery, her brother, is the fullback on the football team. He's found himself a girlfriend, and he's invited every party. Most everyone avoids Elena like the plague, and Elena does the same to them.
But, everyone remembers that first night the Scott Twins were in town. They remember Elena at the party, and she was having fun. Laughing and smiling and talking to people like they're normal human beings and not gum on the bottom of her shoes.

ELENA SCOTT hates most everyone. Maybe it's not fair that she came to West Ham having already formed a bias against the town and the people living there, but that's just how the cookie crumbles. She finds almost every person there to either be intolerable, nauseating, annoying, or a combination of all three. Sam, Becca, Cassandra, and Allie are the only people she can tolerate but calling them "friends" would be a stretch. She's made her feelings very well known from the start. But, there's no one she hates more than Harry Bingham. She didn't hate him at first, in fact at the party she quite liked him. Well, she liked his face anyways. But now she knows how much of an asshole he is and she lets him know every chance she gets that she hates him. The rest of the students at their high school store left to wonder, what exactly happened that night to make her hate him, and everyone else, so much.

THE STUDENTS find themselves on a bus to a camping trip, after that horrendous smell returns. All is well, until they wake up to find themselves back home early that morning. They get off the bus to find their town absolutely deserted. As they make more horrible discoveries, like there's no way out of town, the teenagers start to panic. The teens of West Ham are all alone now, and no one is safe.
