ON MY OWN
Elena doesn't bother to put on makeup when she wakes up. The bags under her eyes show just how little sleep she got.
After Cassandra's revelation last night she spent the next four hours trying to call someone, anyone. She tried getting on Facebook, but the WiFi is gone and the only people she can contact are her class mates, who honestly would be the last people she would ever call in an emergency. Or in general. She was slightly self-conscious to go out without being made up, because if it's one thing Elena Scott has learned in the five months she's lived in West Ham, it's that if it's not pretty it doesn't belong. But, when she finally leaves her house to go out and look for her brother since he didn't come home last night, she sees tons and tons of hung over kids who look even less made up than her. It gives her a strange satisfaction.
She pulls out her phone as she walks down the side-walk and tries to call Avery again, and like it's done the last four times, his phone goes to voicemail. Elena audibly groans and decides she's going to check Lexie's house, considering Lexie was having some kind of melt-down last night.
While she has her phone out, she decides to go through the pictures sent by her ever-pleasant classmates. The party was at the church, and she thinks that has to be some kind of sin. She spots a lot of people she knows in the pictures. All the meatheads, Allie and Will, Harry and Kelly, Olivia and Gwen, all the people she would expect to be at the party. But then she comes across a photo that makes her stop on the sidewalk.
It's a picture of Campbell and Grizz, Grizz is pouring beer over Campbell's head but that's not what she's focused on. She focused on the background of the picture, where she spots her brother leaning very close to Becca."No fucking way," she mutters to herself and swipes to the next picture, where Avery is kissing Becca.
Her mouth falls open. Becca has never even seemed like the type to want to go to a party. She never talks about boys, much less her brother. Elena clicks off her phone and puts it into her pocket, filing her new found information away for future blackmailing purposes. She can't say she's mad, actually she prefers Becca ten times over Lexie.
"Hey!"
Elena's eyes snap up to meet the green eyes of Cassandra.
"I was just coming to your house," Cassandra says when she meets Elena where she stands on the sidewalk, "You didn't tell anyone what I told you last night, did you?"
Elena shakes her head, "No, why?"
"I don't want everyone freaking out. I've texted a few people to meet at Town Hall to talk about what's gong on and I want you and Avery there."
