Game Night

(2 weeks later, Lynx POV)
  I sighed, when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door, and found Aphrodite standing there smiling. I said, "Hello there, Beautiful.". She giggled, and said, "Hello yourself, Handsome.". We shared a quick kiss, and I said, "Come on in, Babe, we were just waiting for you.". She came in, and hugged Lisa. I sat down, and Aphrodite sat on my lap with Lisa sitting back down on Nick's. Nick asked tauntingly, "Are you two ready to have your butts handed to you?". I snorted, and said, "Say that when you actually win, Nick. We've got this in bag.". Me and Aphrodite high-fived, and Nick said, "Whatever, we've totally got you this time, Lynx!". We both picked up a PlayStation 4 controller, and started playing Mortal Kombat X. I whooped Nick's ass with my boy, Scorpion. It was the girls turn to play, and I taught Aphrodite how to play. She kicked Lisa's ass with Kitana, which was pretty impressive for her first time playing. We played a few more rounds, and we soon found ourselves playing a card game called Spades, which surprisingly Aphrodite was pretty damn good at. It was official, Aphrodite was my go-to girl for game night, but damn was she a mean she-devil in monopoly! She had bought a whole corner of the board, which we called Death Row. I asked curiously, "You sure I can't get a discount, Babe? I'll do anything you want!". I've officially fucked myself, and my poor wallet with that statement. God have mercy on my soul, and my poor wallet. He doesn't deserve the horrible fate coming his way soon!
  Aphrodite smiled devilishly, and asked sweetly, "Anything, Dear, did I hear you right?". I nodded silently, and Aphrodite said, "Then we're going shopping tomorrow! No ifs, ands, or buts!". I mumbled quietly, "God have mercy on my poor wallet.". Aphrodite asked me all too sweetly, "What was that, Dear?". I quickly said, "Nothing, just thinking about how beautiful you'll look in whatever you buy!". Aphrodite smiled at me a little while longer, before saying, "You're too sweet, Lynx.". She gently kissed my cheek, before saying, "But you still need to pay up, Mister.". I said, "Damnit!". I gave her the money, and she said in a smug tone, "Pleasure doing business with you, Baby.". I stuck my tongue out at her childishly, which she returned in kind. Nick started laughing, and said, "You're screwed, Lynx!". I said, "Shut up, you're not dating a Monopoly She-devil! Plus you still have to come this way anyway!". He slumped in his seat, and Lisa gently rubbed his back. The game went on until Aphrodite bought the whole damn board, and made us all go broke. I said, "You, Babe, are one mean Monopoly she-devil, but I love you.". She giggled, and said, "I'll let that she-devil comment slide, if you give me a kiss.". I grinned, and kissed her right on those soft luscious lips. I pulled away, and asked, "You know you didn't need to do all that for a kiss, right?". She giggled, and asked, "Where's the fun in that?". I chuckled, and shook my head.
What a strange woman I love so much. Nick, and Lisa left a few minutes later, and Aphrodite asked me softly, "How was your day, Baby?". I said softly, "Pretty boring really.". She sat in my lap, and said softly, "I think I know how to make your day brighter.". She gently kissed me, before asking, "Do you mind if I spend the night?". I gently caressed her cheek with my thumb, and said, "That's fine with me, Babe? Do you have a change of clothes to change into?". She asked me nervously, "Well, I was wondering if I could just sleep in one of your shirts?". I couldn't help but chuckle at her antics, before I said, "That's fine, Babe.". She smiled softly, kissed me, and said, "Thank you, Baby, and I'm sorry for not bringing my own clothes to wear.". I gave her a quick peck on the head, and said, "Don't worry about it, you're always more than welcome to anything I've got, just try not to make a habit of it.". She nodded, and said seductively, "No peeking, Baby.". She gave me a quick kiss, and went to go to my room, but let out an oh so cute 'eep', when I pinched her butt. She playfully glared at me, and swatted my arm halfheartedly, before going into my room to change. What a strange woman I love.
A few minutes later, Aphrodite came out to the living room in one of my white long sleeve button up shirts, which did pretty well at hiding her figure, but accentuating it at the same time, and her purple panties. She posed in front of me, and asked seductively, "What do you think, Baby? Like it?". I asked jokingly, "You're trying to kill me from blood loss aren't you?". She pouted cutely, and said as she sat in my lap, "I'm serious, Babe. Tell me what you think.". I said softly, "I think you look drop dead gorgeous in my shirt, Babe.". She said softly, "Your turn to go change.". I said, "I can't change if you don't let me up, Babe.". She said, "Not my problem, you're too comfortable for me to get up.". I said, "Well that's too bad, Babe.". I moved her off my lap, and went to change. Once I was done changing, I asked Aphrodite, "You coming to bed, or what, Babe?". She quickly came into my bedroom, and gasped. I asked curiously, "What's up?".
She asked in shock, "What the hell happened to you!?". I looked down at my battle scarred body, and asked curiously, "What, this?". She asked me in shock, "How can you be so nonchalant about this, Lynx!?". I asked quietly as I turned away, "Who said I was, Aphrodite? Who said it doesn't hurt waking up to see these scars that plague me in both body, and mind? Who said I was nonchalant about this, when I've only learned to deal with it?". Aphrodite asked me softly, "Lynx, what are you talking about?". I said softly as I turned back around to look at her, "I got these scars, killing my best friend, the one person I thought of as a brother. These scars, these curses, are some of my last reminders of him, Aphrodite. It hurts waking up, and seeing these everyday. I hate myself for doing what I did, but I knew it was the right thing to do. What made it worst, was the fact I got sealed into the fucking moon by some asshat that claimed to be a sage, and I got labeled a monster.". Aphrodite took a small step towards me, and said softly yet firmly, "You're no monster, Lynx. You're an amazing person.". Another step, and she said, "You're kind, caring, protective.". A few more steps, and she was right in front of me as she looked me in the eyes, before hugging me tightly as she said, "But above all else, you're the most amazing man a woman could love, and I'm proud to be that woman, Lynx. Your woman.".
I just stared into those beautiful sapphire blue eyes of hers, and said softly, "You don't know how much that truly means to me, Babe.". I hugged her gently, and just stayed quiet. After a few minutes, I let Aphrodite go, she got into bed, before patting the spot next to her, and saying with a beautiful smile, "Come to bed, Baby, I want to cuddle with you! Come on!". I sighed as I got into bed with her. She giggled, and cuddled up to me, before I asked her playfully, "You comfortable now?". She quickly gave me a peck on the lips, and said with a satisfied smiled, "Now I am. Goodnight, Babe, I love you.". I chuckled, and said, "I love you too, Babe. Goodnight.". I wrapped my arm around her, and pulled her closer, before falling asleep.
