A Happy Accident with iKon

B-Day

I woke up this morning like every other day but when I checked the date on my phone, I realized that today wasn't like any other day. Today was my 23rd birthday, however I also realized that I had to work today which made me a little sad. As I got ready for my "fun" day at work, my phone started going crazy with many text messages and Facebook notifications wishing me a happy birthday. Once I finished getting ready, I headed downstairs as I started responding to each person.
"Good morning and Happy Birthday!" Mel said as she was making breakfast for the 2 of us.
"Aww thank you!" I replied with a smile while continuing to go through my phone.
When I was done on my phone and waiting to eat breakfast, I felt my smile turn into a slight frown.
"What's wrong?" Mel asked concernedly.
"I got a birthday wish from everyone except the one person I was really hoping to get one from." I explained as I watched Mel put everything on the table.
"Bobby hasn't sent you one yet?!" She asked being completely shocked.
"Nope not yet. I texted him earlier saying I had to work today but no reply." I said.
"Well I'm sure he'll send you one soon!" She said to reassure me as I nodded in agreement.
The 2 of us then ate the delicious breakfast that Mel had made and when we were done and the dishes were in the dishwasher, I said goodbye to her as I left for work.

~Mel's POV~
The moment Reanna walked out the door to head to work, I immediately picked up my phone and called BI. I told him that Reanna had just left and that they should come over within an hour or 2 to help clean and decorate the house for tonight. Once I hanged up the phone, I went to quickly finish the episode I was on in my drama then went to start cleaning up. Pretty soon the boys came over and they brought over presents they got for Reanna, alcohol for us to drink and some snacks. We decided to put up a Happy Birthday sign, a few balloons, streamers, etc to really surprise her. It took us a most of the afternoon to get everything ready for Reanna's party, but luckily we were done a couple of hours before she got home so we could take a little break.

At 5pm I got a text from Reanna saying she was done work and that she was going to be home within 15 minutes. All of us then went around the living room and kitchen to make sure everything was ready and perfect. Song put the dinner he had made onto the table while the rest of us set plates, utensils and other things. Right as we finished Bobby suddenly said,
"I think I just heard Reanna's car drive in."
We all then got into our positions as we waited for Reanna to walk in and when she a couple seconds later, we all shouted,
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

~My POV~
When I walked into the door while feeling half asleep, I suddenly heard everyone shout which jolted me awake in surprise. As I took my jacket off, my eyes widened at all the planning and hard work that everyone did to decorate the house. Bobby then ran up to me and embraced me with a warm hug and said,
"Happy Birthday Baby Girl!"
"Thanks Babe! Why didn't you text me this morning wishing me a happy birthday?" I asked.
"I'm sorry but Missy told us to come over to celebrate so I wanted to wait and tell you in person!" He explained.
"Aww that's so sweet of you! Okay I forgive you!" I said.
Bobby leaned down and gave me a passionate kiss which made me smile from ear to ear. When we broke apart, Song then called everyone to the table since dinner was ready. All the boys were kind enough to let me pick my share first and once I had my plate full of food, everyone else followed after.

While we ate, we were chatting with one another until I said,
"Wow Song this is REALLY delicious thank you!"
"Your welcome Reanna! Just thought I would do something nice for the birthday girl!" He said with a smile.
Once everyone was done eating, Jay and Chan offered to load up the dishwasher. The rest of us made drinks for ourselves then went to relax in the living room. As we sat down on the couch and chairs, DK said excitedly,
"Present time!"
"Aww you guys didn't have to get me anything. You just being here is good enough." I explained.
"Well to bad, we got you stuff anyways!" BI insisted which made me chuckle.
"First one is mine!" BI said as he passed over his gift to me.
I opened up the bag that his gift was in and I pulled out one of their albums. It was their New Kids Repackaged: The New Kids album. When I teared open the plastic that was around it, I immediately took out the poster and the photo card that it came with.
"Thank you BI, this is awesome! I'll look at the photo book later...YASS I GOT BOBBY!" I shouted excitedly as I looked at the photo card.
"Ours is next since we put ours together." DK, Song and Jay explained as DK handed me an envelope.
