~Bobby's POV~
Christmas was finally over and now everyone was preparing for New Years that was in a couple days. Since a lot of stuff in stores were now on sale, me, Reanna and her parents, along with Hanbin, Missy and her parents decided to spend another day together going to the mall again. When we got there, we looked around at a bunch of random stores to check out the variety of sales. While we were walking down to check the next place, I noticed we went past this fancy Jewelry store called Piaget. I took a quick glance in it from where I was standing, but made sure not to make it to obvious to Reanna what I was doing. I'm trying to keep it my plans a secret since I want to propose to her on New Years.

As we were heading into the store, I suddenly stopped myself and Reanna's mom. Since Reanna saw me, she stopped as well and asked,
"What are you doing Babe?"
"I just need ask your mom something! You can go on ahead with everyone else, I'll catch up in a minute." I explained while trying not to sound nervous.
She gave me this confused since she was most likely wondering why I suddenly needed to talk to her mom alone. I was hoping she didn't ask why because I wasn't sure if I could come up with a good enough excuse. Lucky she didn't bother asking even though she was still confused then quickly caught up with Mel.
"Did you need something?" Mom asked curiously.
"Yeah actually, I was wondering if you would like to help me pick out an engagement ring for Reanna?!" I explained as I noticed she was started to tear up while smiling from the question.
"Oh no no no don't cry!" I added as I was trying to make her stop.
"I'm sorry but I can't help it. Having a man wanting to buy a ring because they want to propose is just so sweet and amazing that every mother can't help but cry." She explained as she pulled out a tissue to wipe her eyes.
Once she was done wiping her slightly puffy face, the 2 of us went into the jewelry store.

When we walked in and went towards the glass casings with the rings, we were greeted by a nice young sales lady.
"Hello how may I help you today?" The sales lady asked.
"I'm looking for the perfect engagement ring for my girlfriend!" I replied.
"Aww how sweet! Well if you look over here, as you can see we have fine selection of rings to choose from!" She explained as I took a step over to where she was pointing.
As I examined each one, I mentally sighed to myself since none of them so far didn't seemed perfect enough. Right as I was about to give up searching, I suddenly spotted one that immediately caught my eye.
"Can I see that one please?! The one where the circle diamond is in a rounded square holder and there are smaller diamonds going down the sides? I think that's a rose gold colour as well." I explained to the lady.
"Oh great choice!" She commented as she brought it out from inside the casing.
She handed me the little box that the ring was in so I could look at it up close. The longer I examined it, the more I was convinced that this was DEFINITELY the one.
"I'll take it!" I said happily as we walked over to the cash register.
I paid the amount I owed, said thank you to the sales lady then me and mom headed out.

Before I put the ring in my pocket, I showed it to mom and she started to tear up a little again.
"I can't believe my daughter is going to be proposed to soon!" She said.
I gave her a nice warm hug to help calm her down and after a few seconds I pulled away and we heading towards where everyone else was.

~Couple Days Later~
Today was finally the last day of the year, New Years Eve. Like everyone else, we wanted to do something special tonight that would definitely complete this year with a bang. Luckily we found about this New Years Party happening tonight at the park which we thought was perfect. The boys came over for the afternoon to help us decide what to bring along and pack everything up. Since we were going to be there for most of the evening we decided to pack alcohol to drink, snacks to nibble on and blankets to sit on. Once we finished packing everything up, we left to the park a little early to get a good spot before it got too crowded.
