The sounds of the cafeteria drifted over your head as you stared lazily at the food on your plate, you had been distracted all morning, the events of last night running through your mind constantly, everything you'd felt, everything you'd seen, you knew you wanted to feel it again, all the things you'd been missing out on, you glanced up at the silver cross hanging on the wall in the room and frowned at it. All of your life it had held you back, a prehistoric finger waggling in your face, choking you from afar, stopping you from experiencing everything that you should have been doing, you felt a wave of low brewing anger in the pit of your stomach, a slow-burning resentment towards the life you'd been living.

"Hey" your friend snapped her fingers in front of your face, jolting you from your thoughts

"Hmm?" you looked at her with a frown

"What's gotten into you? You've been spaced out all morning"

You smiled to yourself and shook your head

"Nothing, I'm fine"

"Girls! Have you seen that car in the parking lot??" you heard someone call from behind you

Everyone's attention turned to her as she walked over

"It's like something out of a movie!!" she shrieked as she sat down beside you, excitedly

"What color is it?" you asked quickly, shoving your tray of food away

"Like a blue color? It's so cool!" she answered and you immediately panicked, you picked up your things and stood up

"Excuse me" you mumbled as you left the cafeteria, you jogged down the halls and out through the doors, you looked around quickly and spotted Billy's car parked at the far side of the parking lot, you glanced over your shoulder briefly before jogging over and the window slid down revealing Billy grinning at you from the driver's seat, a cigarette balanced in his mouth

"Hey sweetheart" he cooed

You hurriedly walked around to the passenger side, checking to make sure no-one could see you and climbed into the seat

"Billy, what are you doing here?" you asked him and he shrugged loosely, tapping the ash from his cigarette out of the window

"I didn't get chance to say goodbye to you last night, you looked so pretty sleeping and I didn't wanna wake you" he purred with a smile

You immediately softened at his charming words and sighed

"Seriously, Billy, are you here looking for some other religious girl to corrupt?" you said playfully and he frowned

"Why would I wanna do that? I already have one" he replied, placing his hand on your thigh gently

"You look adorable in that uniform" he commented as he ran his eyes down your body, drawing a hard blush onto your cheeks

"Well, thank you" you appreciated softly as you placed your hand on top of his

"I just wanted to stop by and tell you that I had a great time last night" he said as he rubbed your leg

"Yeah, me too" you agreed with a nod, smiling at him

"So, can I see you again tonight?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, taking a drag of his cigarette and blowing the smoke out of the window

"I'd like that" you answered with a smile

"So, how are we gonna work this? Am I gonna have to keep crawling through your window in the middle of the night?" he asked you with a smirk

"We'll see" you answered with a grin

You heard the bell for the end of lunch ring in the distance and you peered through the windshield
