Fight or Flight

Chapter 1

Bella POV
I'm running through Volturi trying to get to the clock tower before noon to stop my suicidal ex-boyfriend from exposing himself to all of the humans so that The Volturi will kill him. Know you may be wondering how did it come to this, well let's go back to the beginning of this adventure.

I had gone to Forks to close up some loose ends before I could return to my family, see Charlie is not my real dad neither is Renne. I never knew who my birth parents were, but that's ok my real family is Master Splinter/Sensi and my four younger brothers Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michaelangelo. We were never a normal family, my brothers are teenage mutant turtles and Mater Spinter is a giant rat, me I look human for the most part but I have huge angel wings that come out of my back. See my family and I are ninjas and a few days ago we had fought our nemesis Shredder, we had lost the fight and almost lost our lives but we retreated and are staying at a farm to heal. I knew I should have stayed at the farm with my family and healed but I needed to get these done so that is why I went to Forks.

When I got to Forks I headed to the school and told them that I would not be going to school here anymore more and got all the papers I would need then I headed towards Emily's to say goodbye to the Pack, I'm really good friends with the pack and they know about my wings and they never cared that I had them, they keep my secret and I keep there's. After I said goodbye to the pack, Jacob decided to come see Charlie with me before I leave. When we got to Charlie there was a vampire inside to Jacob freaked out and tried to get me to leave but I could see it was a Cullen vehicle and that a Cullen was inside my house. I told Jacob that I would be fine, I went inside only to find Alice dress in all black like a funeral. "Alice?" I questioned wondering why she would be here "Bella?" Alice says questions. "What are you... I'm sorry, I'm just surprised... Did—" I ask Alice before she cuts me off. "Would you like to explain to me how your alive" Alice states "what?" I question wondering if she saw the fight between Shredder and my family "I saw a vision of you. You jumped off a cliff. Why in the hell would you try and kill yourself? I mean, what about Charlie? What about—" Alice demands before I cut her off. Now I knows what she was talking about, I went cliff jumping with the pack but I was early and decided so jump before the pack came, while I jumped I hit my head on the way down. " one I didn't try and kill myself. I was cliff jumping. Recreational. It was fun. And second that was a week ago when that happened" I explain to Alice but she just scoffs at my answer. " I have never meet anyone more prone to life-threatening idiocy" Alice says but I just ignore it. After a moment Alice scrunches up her noise  " Bella, what is that god-awful wet dog smell" Alice complains and I just hold in a laugh at that knowing it was the pack she was smelling. " probably me... or it's Jacob" I say cause Jacob was the last one near me. "Jacob who" Alice question. "Jacob the werewolf" I sass, while Alice just sighs "Bella! Werewolves are not good company to keep" Alice stresses while I just scrunch up my noise at that comment. Jacob walks in just as Alice says that and notices my face he just curves his lips up into a small smile "speak for yourself" Jacob states while Alice stands up and turns to him. I smile at this and bit my lip to outright laugh at that. " I had to see if you were safe" Jacob states to me, I just roll my eyes "I thought you couldn't protect me here" I mock his words from earlier, he just rolls his eyes "guess I don't care" Jacob states bluntly. Alice looks offended from what is being said " well I'm not gonna hurt her" Alice states "no, you're just a harmless Cullen. I'm talking about the other bloodsucker who tried to kill Bella because of you" Jacob states bluntly. He knows that I can't take care of myself but he just a protective "older" brother, I know Jacob isn't my brother but we look at each other like siblings. "Victoria?" Alice questions while looks at me, I just think no the other red headed vampire hellbent on revenge. "Yeah, Victoria's been around" I say instead just wanting this conversation to be over with. " I didn't see her. I didn't see you get pulled out of the water either. " Alice states while looking at Jacob with disgust "I can't see past you and your pack of mutts." "Don't get me upset" Jacob states. I stand up and get between them knowing if I don't I'm gonna have a werewolf v.s vampire fight in my living room "hey. Stop" I state, while Jacob starts getting closer to Alice. " or things are gonna get very ugly" Jacob states "stop stop stop" I stay them look at Alice basically asking her to leave use for a minute. " I'll give you a minute" she states while walking out the door.

" no none of the other Cullens are here it's just Alice. No I don't know how long she staying for, and I don't know if the rest are coming back" I state while leaning against the kitchen counter,  Jacob just shakes his head at me with a smile. I look up at him while he walks toward me and places a hand on my cheek "Bella. I'm gonna miss you" he whispers while leaning into place a kiss on my forehead, just as he pulls away the phone rings. I just shrug my shoulders in the I don't know who it could be gesture. "Swan residents"  Jacob says while listening to the person on the phone, he frowns " he's not here right now. He's arranging a funeral" Jacob states I watch as he lowers the phone down " who was that? What?" I question while Jacob starts shaking for now reason, he steps back and I know he might shift so I stay where I am to. "Jack who was that" I question again while Alice rushes into the kitchen. "Bella. Bella, it's Edward he thinks your dead. Rosalie told him why I came here." Alice states. I just think what is the idiot going to do "Bella" Alice says while turning me to face her. Bella, he's going to the Volturi. He wants to die too" Alice states. I just look at her and think what is wrong with this guy. The next thing I know Alice grabs my hand and drags me toward her car.
