Lauren sighs as she follows Ally and Dinah into yet another shop. They had been at the mall for two hours already and she still wasn't happy about it.
The only reason she hadn't told them that she didn't want to come was because they were so excited and she didn't want them to think she was just being ungrateful or a brat. But really it was because she still wasn't really over the last time she had been here and she really doesn't like it when it's busy. Plus her head hurt and she was feeling kinda sleepy and all she wanted to do was cuddle up with Nala and nap for a while. And it really wasn't helping that all she could think about was whether or not the other people in the mall knew she was wearing a diaper.
"What do you think of this, Lauren?" Dinah asks, holding another dress up against her to see what she thought. "I think it looks good." The blonde answers herself, tossing it in the cart before moving on to another item of clothing.
Lauren was starting to feel dizzy and hot and she really didn't want to shop anymore. Sighing quietly to herself, Lauren makes her way over to Ally and takes the older woman's hand with a tired smile.
"You okay, baby?" The blonde asks with a smile of her own.
"Mhm." She yawns, allowing Ally to lead her over to Dinah who is looking at more clothes.
"I think someone's in need of a nap, Dinah." Ally teases, causing Dinah to look up from what she is doing with a pout.
"Are you tired, Laur?" The taller blonde asks, reaching out to pull the youngest girl into a hug when she nods.
"We won't be long, baby. One more shop after this one and then you can nap in the car." Dinah smiles, pressing a kiss to Lauren's hair. "You wanna ride in the cart?"
"But there's people." The raven haired girl mumbles shyly against Dinah's chest.
"They won't care, baby and even if they do, they won't say anything. It's perfectly normal to see littles in public, Lauren."
She thinks about her options for a moment and although she doesn't really want anyone to see her sitting in the cart, she also doesn't know if she can last to another shop without passing out. So with a heavy sigh, she raises her head to look up at Dinah. "Yes please," she mumbles, allowing the woman to lift her into the cart and then shifting herself to get comfortable.
She sighs in relief when they finally pay but that soon fades when she remembers they were going to one more shop.
"We thought you might like to get a few things for your room, Laur. Y'know since we haven't really decorated it yet."
"It's okay. I don't mind."
"We want it to be your space, Lauren. If it's about the money then you don't need to worry at all, we wouldn't spend it if it was a problem." Dinah continues with a soft smile.
"Why don't we start small, hm? How about some blankets and stuff?"
"I've got my lion king blankie though."
"We know that, sweetheart but we thought you might like to have another one."
"'Kay." She nods with a sigh, leaning back a bit to rest against the side of the cart.
"Do you see any you like?"
"I- I like the grey one."
"This one?" Dinah checks, reaching for the chunky knitted blanket with a smile.
"Mhm. It's not too much?"
"Of course not, baby." She smiles again, moving closer to the cart. "You wanna hold it?"
"Please." Lauren nods shyly, unable to stop herself from reaching for the blanket and immediately cuddling into it.
"You're so cute!" Dinah grins, pushing the cart over to the bedding as Ally follows behind.
"Do you see anything you like, honey?" The shorter blonde asks kindly, seeing the younger girl's red cheeks.
"I like the starry one..."
"This one?" Dinah checks again, this time reaching for a pack of bedding once the girl nods.
"Good choice, baby and it's a two pack!" She smiles, causing the raven haired girl to grin sleepily back up at her.
"Let's go look over there." Ally suggests, watching as Dinah nods before following her through the shop."

"Sh-sh-sh, the lady just needs your blanket to scan it, baby. You can have it right back." Ally soothes, gently taking the blanket and passing it to Dinah as she calms the freshly woken youngster.
"My blankie!" Lauren cries, unhappy that she had been woken up and that her new blanket was already being taken away from her.
"It's okay, sweetheart. Just wait a second and you can have it back." Ally continues to coo to the little one until the blanket has been scanned before quickly taking it from the cashier and handing it back to the green eyed girl.
"There we go, all better." She soothes, wiping the tears from the girl's cheeks.
"Some of them can really be brats sometimes, huh?" The cashier comments, shaking her head.
"Excuse me?" Dinah asks, raising her eyebrows and crossing her arms expectantly.
"Carrying on over the slightest little thing like they're actually kids, it's ridiculous." She continues, causing the now calm girl to look down sadly, the blanket falling to her lap.
"I would keep your opinion to yourself if I were you." Dinah practically growls, reaching for Lauren and hoisting her into her arms.
"Jeez calm down, lady. No wonder she acts like a brat." The woman mutters, beginning to serve the next customer.
Ally's eyes widen at the furious expression on Dinah's face and she hurries to tug her girlfriend away. "Leave it, Dinah. She's not worth it."
"I'm not letting her talk shit about my baby!" Dinah argues, moving to set Lauren on her feet only for the little one to whimper and hook her legs around the older girl's waist.
"You're upsetting Lauren, babe. You need to calm down."
"What? Ally, no, she-"
"-I don't care. Right now, what I care about is that you are making things worse with your temper and you are upsetting Lauren. I have asked you to leave it, can you please just be the bigger person and move on. Lauren needs you to be calm."
"I'm sorry." Dinah mumbles, turning her head to look at the girl currently clinging to her. "I'm sorry, Laur, I didn't mean to upset you."
"Home p'ease?" Is all Lauren utters as she hides her face in the woman's neck causing Dinah to sigh.
"Of course, baby. Let's go home."
