Finding the lost King

Chapter Three

"Umm..." I didn't know what to say but then when I thought of something to say Stephen beat me to it "yes we are." "Are you okay with this?" I asked Samuel. "Well I guess so..., but if you hurt my baby sister I will kill you." "Okay, Samuel I think that he gets it now." I said. "Okay, everyone let's get moving before it becomes dark." While we were walking I hear something in the woods behind us.

 "Everyone stop moving." I said, when I turned around I said "Run." "Why" Lucy asked. "Because I said so. Now RUN!" We ran but I could still hear the footsteps so I yelled "everyone Climb that tree!" When we all got I the tree I looked down and saw slow walkers looking around and then run off ahead of us.

We all jumped down out of the tree. "What were those things?" Lucy asked, "a special kind of slow walker." I said, "but the other slow walkers didn't move that fast." Lucy said. "That is because they are half human." I explained to her. "But how can they be half human?" Stephen asked.

 "The special slow walkers are half humans because some slow walkers have kids with humans when the slow walkers took human women and teens for themselves or their sons to have kids." I explained to everyone. "That is the nastiest thing I have ever heard." Stephen and Lucy said at the same time.

 "Yeah well if our last king didn't kill their kings then this stuff wouldn't have happened to us." I said back to them. That next morning I was trying to get up but I couldn't because there was something stopping me from doing that. I looked down to see Stephen's arm around my waist.

 I turned over and whispered in his ear " please let me go... Stephen..." but I got nothing I tried again and got nothing I turned back over and gave up and went back to sleep. I woke up again to Stephen kissing my neck I turned over and kissed him it turned into a makeout session so I pulled away and said "Good Morning." "Good Morning to you to babe." He said back to me.
