Chap 14: Birdie

Luigi's POV:

I woke up to the sunlight through the small window, wait.. When did I fall asleep? I sat up slowly and looked out the window only seeing the blurry grass and maybe a tree.

"... I'm gonna go insane in here.." I laid my head down a bit and sighed, but a little bird landed on the window and looked at me before hopping on my hat.

"Aww.. God I'm too soft with animals.." I whistled and held up a finger and it landed on it.

"I'm sorry I couldn't stay quiet anymore." I almost jumped out the window before realizing it was Bowser.

"D-don't do that!!"

He continued to laugh a bit before calming down and looking at the bird, "so you don't allow people to touch your hat?"

"Well no.." I sat there for a second before realizing something, "w-wait did y-ou sleep in the be-d with me!??"

He's face froze up quickly and looked around for a place to escape, he than sighed and looked away, "you looked really comfortable.."

My face gone completely red and the bird finally flew away, my stars... I didn't even wake up to that.. Wait, is his shell comfortable?

Stop thinking thay way Luigi!

I rubbed my face a little before looking at Bowser and going over and hugging him, "I-it's alri-ght.." Oh it's as soft as a pillow how it's a shell..

Bowsers POV:

Oh he hugged me without me needing to ask, we are progressing finally! He is such a nervous person it's so hard to do anything with that..

"So, lets sit and talk for a second shall we?" I sat on the edge of the bed feeling it shift to my weight.. I'm not big for my species I swear... Really.

He took a second before sitting down and looking up at me, kicking his legs back and forth.. I wonder if that's a habit.

"So when I give you a little job here.. What would you want to do?" He's eyebrows came together in confusion while looking down.

"Something small to do outside, it is a little.. Stiff in the castle." Luigi shifted a bit and looked down guilty.

"Oh alright but I will still need someone to look after you, no offense." He shrugged and kept staring at the floor.

"You wanna talk?" He shook a bit and covered his eyes, shaking his head no quickly.

"... What did he do to you.."
