"so, yoongi," jimin began as he walked beside yoongi in the direction of yoongi's apartment. they'd just left their shared class that took place at six a.m.

"so, jimin," yoongi replied. "almost done with my portrait?"

"um-" caught off guard by the question, and briefly remembering their first encounter, jimin blushed and stammered out a "n-not yet. w-why do you ask?"

"i want to see the finished product of your exemplary talent, mr.park." yoongi explained.

jimin puffed his cheeks a bit, looking over at yoongi's face. "you look like a struggling poet." jimin observed.

"well, if the shoe fits." yoongi said.

yoongi was wearing his usual black pants with chains on the belt loops instead of a belt. he had on his usual black high-top converse that looked so worn out that they almost resembled the tiredness jimin saw in yoongi sometimes. but, what completed the look is the black turtle neck and black glasses yoongi wore. it was a work of art in jimin's mind.

"i want to read your poetry someday." jimin declared.

"maybe, when you fall in love with me." yoongi decided.

"i-" jimin blushed and gaped. the chutzpah on this guy! he thought. "who said i was going to fall in love with you, huh?"

yoongi glanced at jimin amusedly. he stopped walking forward and leaned forward, his face merely centimeters away from jimin.

jimin stopped breathing, his eyes went wide. he stared into yoongi's sharp eyes. they were brown with hints of hazel swirling within the irises.

"i did, of course." yoongi answered jimin before standing up and continuing his path to his dorm.

jimin stood in shock for a few moments until he caught up with yoongi, once again walking beside him.

they arrived at yoongi's apartment; hoseok was nowhere in sight. "where's your roommate?" jimin asked curiously.

"probably out making the world a better place or something else that's gay." yoongi replied from his room, rummaging around for his wallet. he stopped for a moment. "or maybe he's in class. it is eight a.m., after all."
