honestly, yoongi did want to be a business owner. he just didn't want it to be the business that's been in his family for generations is all.it felt like a big, glorified, hand-me-down.
despite his wishes, he surely didn't know what kind of business he wanted to own. he'd thought of a music supply shop, but he knew that he'd be jealous of his customers, as the equipment is very expensive. he never really liked to use his father's money to buy things so he always relied on his own paychecks.
currently, he didnt have a job, so he thought it best to start job hunting.
"namjoon..." yoongi whined as he sat in front of his computer, trying to decide who he should send his resume to. "i don't know what i want to do." he huffed.
"well you could just see if that one sketchy diner near the freeway is hiring. you like it a lot, don't you?" namjoon suggested, looking down at his phone. probably texting in a groupchat that yoongi had muted because he actually hated groupchats.
"i like your thinking, you mage you." yoongi said as he stood from his place at he and hoseok's shared dining table.
"everyone does, it's my most charming feature." namjoon stated confidently.
"really?" yoongi said confusedly. "i always thought they liked your dimples."
namjoon suddenly frowned and scrunched up his nose "but they're so...basic."
yoongi just chuckled slightly and walked towards the door, grabbing his keys.
he called jimin. jimin answered after the first ring.
"hi there, yoongi. what has enticed you to call me on this fine day?" jimin spoke in his happy voice. yoongi could almost see his little eyes turn into cresents from smiling just from hearing his tone.
"well, not that i need enticing to want to call you, but i do have a favor to ask. " yoongi replied. his tone was not at all as enthusiastic as jimin's but he doubted jimin minded. he was a very calm spoken person.
"well, what is it?" jimin asked.
"come with me to retro aesthetic's?" yoongi requested. this weird nervousness washing over him. what if jimin didn't want to? what if he'd have to try to do it alone? he wasn't as bold as he looked. yoongi was actually just as shy as jimin. he just happened to be a bit more intimidating.
"of course! i don't have any plans till later." jimin said. yoongi felt something like relief as he exhaled.
"okay. meet you there or do you want to go together?" yoongi asked. "you have plans later?"
