YoungJae: Hey, you up yet

YoungJae: Minnie?

YoungJae: Class starts soon and you're usually here earlier then me

Minnie: Yeah I'm up

Minnie: Woke up late and had to catch the next bus, but here now

YoungJae: At least you got a little extra sleep since you didn't fall asleep til late

Minnie: Yeah you're right 😅

YoungJae: Anyway get here quick the teacher was worried you were sick

Minnie: Got it

*During class*

YoungJae: How are you literally so cute|

YoungJae: I mean you're just sitting there paying attention to class|

YoungJae: why is that cute?|

YoungJae: You have the tip of your pencil in your mouth|

YoungJae: Why are you with us today

YoungJae: Don't you usually leave why didn't you go to your other class?

Minnie: Why are you texting me during class

YoungJae: Why are you responding

Minnie: Cause my phone kept going off saying you were on and off typing

Minnie: Why did you type so much just to say that

YoungJae: I was trying not to get caught

YoungJae: And you could have just looked back at me with a glare or something

Minnie: Do you really think you would have stopped if I did that?

YoungJae: Absolutely not

Minnie: Exactly

YoungJae: I would have just texted you more

Minnie: E x a c t l y

YoungJae: You never answered my question

YoungJae: Why are you with us today?

Minnie: My normal teacher is absent and one of my friends there warned me not to come cause the teacher is awful to kids like me

YoungJae: Kid like you?

Minnie: Small kids I guess?

Minnie: He said that she's really mean to kids who are shy and small

Minnie: And I'm pretty sure a picture of me come up when you look up shy or small in the dictionary

YoungJae: Ohhh

YoungJae: I guess that makes sense

~Reality~

"Jeongmin?" The teacher speaks rather loudly. Min immediately looks up to her, "what're you doing?" She says seeing she's got his attention.

"Sorry mam, I was spacing out, but I still got the gist of what you said, swear it won't happen again." He responds in a respectful tone.

"Mhmm, why are you with us today?" She asks, seemingly only just now seeing to notice the fact that he never left when the bell rang signaling the end of homeroom.

"Yesterday my teacher said he'd be absent and it would be best for me just to stay here and get the notes from a classmate as the substitute would not know my situation." He responds, sounding sure of every word even though Jae knew it was white lies.

"Ah, I see. As you were, it makes sense you were spacing out. You probably learned all this before." She nods before continuing with her lesson.

Min nods back in respect before turning and glaring heavily at Jae.

Jae just smirks.

I apologize for the lack of updates, school is just beginning to slow down now, but my family is working on moving, so it's a bit hectic. I hope you can understand. I'll try to be more frequent since school is ending soon, but I can't promise anything until at least June.
