''Young Master, there is an invitation address to you.''

Ah Lin quietly inched closer then placed an invitation on the table in front of Shi Shen.

Shi Shen leisurely took the invitation into his hand then opened it.

The sender was Bu Gong, the last male lead of this world.

He wasn't surprised at this scenario since he had already long expected this.

Although Xu Huang's restaurant was famous, it was not in line with Bu Gong's business as a merchant. That was why in the story, instead of cooperation as business partners, the two became close friends instead.

Through this interactions, Bu Gong thought to himself that he finally found a partner who could understand him both in business and private life so he was unwilling to give him up even though Xu Huang already had partners.

Since there were no more pairing side tasks, Shi Shen gave some slacks to Bu Gong and decided to let nature takes its course.

Whether he were to fall in or fall out of love with Xu Huang, it doesn't concern him.

After all, he had already assigned three male leads for Xu Huang to have a happy ending with.

Unlike Xu Huang's business, Shi Shen's was what Bu Gong has been looking for thus he sought out the owner of Treasure Pavilion to do a transaction with.

Ah Lin made a small sound of acknowledgment then he moved on to another matter,''Sir Chu said that he's done with what Young Master asked him to do so he wanted his reward as promised.''

In return, Shi Shen unhurriedly pushed a wooden box toward Ah Lin then lightly explained,''Take this medicine twice a day, this dose only lasts for three months. His injury needs at least one year to cure so the rest of medicine will depend on his performance.''

A thief will always be a thief so there needed to be some countermeasures. Anyway, he didn't break his promise since the beginning to the end he didn't tell him for how long his injury would be cured either.

Ah Lin didn't question him anything, after he received the box he quietly retreated outside.

He Tian helplessly said,''I really want to see what kind of face will Xu Huang make once he figured that the one who gets plotted against was actually him!''

Chu Jiawei and Bu Gong actually made their appearance far later than this but Shi Shen interfered and made them appear much faster.

Chu Jiawei met Xu Huang once he came to steal the recipe but this time, Shi Shen secretly sought him out by using his internal injury as a bait. Not a lot of people knew this but Chu Jiawei had suffered from internal injury for quite a time already with no cure.

He cannot seek out treatment from Wu Qi because this Godly Doctor had a close relationship with the imperial family to which he, a thief did not get along with them.

Only in the latter part of the story did he finally get treated due to Xu Huang's request toward Wu Qi. Regarding this, it seemed that Chu Jiawei purposely got close to him not only for his secret recipes.

And Shi Shen was correct since Chu Jiawei did not hesitate for long to work with Shi Shen once he heard that he can treat him.

Shi Shen's request was simple. Get into a relationship with Xu Huang for one year and after that, it was his call whether to continue to stay with Xu Huang or not.
