Ch3-Making Friends

Lunch started and Alex went to the cafeteria, got his lunch, and looked around for Simon.
"Alex! Over hear!", Simon called out.
Alex went there straight away and sat down next to him and Alex saw Alvin with 5 more chipmunks!
'Jeez! How much chipmunks are in this school?!', Alex thought.
Then, Simon said, " Alex those two over there are my brothers," he pointed at Alvin and a chipmunk. The chipmunk was one of the small chipmunks, he was kinda chubby and wore a green hoodie. His eyes were a greenish-blue color. Also, by how he looked, he seemed to be younger too. "Alvin and Theodore, and those four are our friends," then he pointed at the 3 girl chipmunks and the one male next to a girl chipmunk, holding her paw. The first was a girl that had her hair in a ponytail, she wore a white T-shirt with a pink jacket that was unzipped. She had light blue colored eyes and Alex could tell that she was one of the popular students here. Next was a girl chipmunk that was chubby, little, and as young as Theodore. She wore a white shirt with green stripes all over it. She had her hair in little pigtails and had greenish-blue eyes just like Theodore. It was almost like looking into a mirror that changes your gender. Then there was the last girl, she had purple glasses on with a purple striped white T-shirt. Here eyes were pure purple and had her hair in one of those ponytail knots. Then came the last male of the bunch, his hair was messy, he had blue eyes with a tint of pink in them. He wore a dark red T-shirt and judging on how their holding paws, Alex was able to assume that they were a couple. "Brittany, Ellenore, Jennette, and David."
Alex didn't say a word as he felt anxiety starting to rise up. He waved and said , "H-Hi, I-I-I'm Alex! It's nice to meet you all!"
Simon noticed Alex's stuttering and assumed that he was trying to hide the fact that he was shy. "So Alex," Brittany started,"where did you move from?"
"I moved from Chicago, a girl named Julia is taking care of me. I've been living with her for 2 years and she's really nice. We moved here because she found a job here and so we moved here.", Alex answered.
"OMG! CHICAGO! WHAT'S IT LIKE THERE?!", Ellenore asked exitedly.
Everyone looked at Alex exited to hear what it was like. Alex answered,
"Chicago is a good place to live, but there is ALWAYS traffic and it's always so loud there. You can't even read in peace there because there's just so much commotion going on. But other than that, it's really nice there."
"Do you have any hobbies?", Simon asked.
"Yeah, I like to stay inside and draw all the time. If I'm not drawing, then I'm reading or studying. Do you have any hobbies Simon?"
"Yeah, I like to study and get good grades in school! But I also like watching movies!"
"What type of movies do you like?"
"I absolutely LOVE the movie Terminator! It's so good! It's a sifi-horror movie. What type of movies do you like Alex?"
"I've never seen Terminator, but I absolutely love horror movies. My favorite movie is IT!"
Simon was shocked to hear he had never seen Terminator. Simon asked,"Do you wanna come to my place to watch Terminator?"
"Sure!", Alex said.
Alex was really happy to have made some friends. He couldn't wait to watch the movie and couldn't wait to tell Julia about his day.
