|Road Chip Final| Ch24- Adopted.

We went to a different place and got a room. We enter onto the table and I have never actually been pushed before cause I've never broke the rules before. I felt extremely bad.
"Listen, the only reason we're still here is because that we have to be here." Mom said to us. A tear rolled down my face as I grabbed my left arm and looked away, trying not to make eye contact. "Yeah, and after the show's over, we're all going home." Dave finished. "I don't think I've been more disappointed in you guys like I am right now..."
"Same goes with me and you Alex..." Mom said and they left the room.
"If Dave didn't want to get rid of us before, then he definitely wants to leave us now..." Simon said with a defeated tone.
"All because we only cared about if WE we're happy." Alvin added. "Maybe it's a chipmunk thing, like hording, Y'know? Maybe we're emotional horders?"
"Actually, Alvin. Ch-chipmunks are traditionally very c-caring creatures." I say, trying to hold back the tears. Simon sat next to me and snuggled with me. I smiled a bit and kissed on the forehead as he kissed my neck.
"Aw nuts... That means it's us..." Alvin said.
"I'd do anything to fix this!" Theo said with sadness in his voice.
"Wait... Maybe we CAN fix it!" Alvin said as I could tell he was thinking of an idea. "What is the one thing we do best?"
"Cause Mischief on land sea and air?" Simon said.
"Eat all of Dave's food?" Theo obviously said. I laughed a little.
"Guys, he means music!" I say.
"Ooooohhh!" They say as Alvin nodded yes.
"Yeah! When words aren't enough, we sing! So let's make a song to sing for Dave and obviously Julia for Alex to show how we really feel about them!" Alvin said.
"I'm in!" I say without hesitation. Simon looks at me quite shocked.
"Miles," Miles looked at Alvin," Start working on that country rift you were doing in Texas!"
"ALVIN, WHERE ARE YOU GOING?! I still need to talk to wardrobe, We need to-" Alvin cut Simon off.
"If we're gonna bring down the house, then we'll need some back up!" Alvin said before leaving.
"Ok! Let's get everything ready!" I say as we get started to get ready.

We were backstage, waiting for our chance to perform. Then Ashley brings out Simon, Alvin and Theodore and they talk and apologize and save a proposal. I'm happy for them. Then, it was my turn. "And, someone is gonna join us tonight!" Alvin says.
"It's my...uh..Friend, Alex!" Simon says. I walk out and I stand next to Simon. For some reason, my nervousness never came. Then Miles started playing the guitar and we sang our song.

Everyone was cheering, even Mom, Dave, and Sam were cheering.

I heard Alvin say, "I LOVE YOU DAD!"
And I said, "I LOVE YOU MOM!"

We all started to leave the place. "Guys! Did you see me? I was on fiaaa-" Theo says as he falls.
"You were quite amazing Alex!" Simon said. I looked away and blushed. "T-thank you?"
"How about next time you go somewhere and while Dave is watching Alex, how about you guys stay at his home so we all know where our kids are?" Mom says.
"That sound like a GREAT idea, Sam?" Dave agreed.
"Yeah! That sound wonderful!" Sam said with happiness.
"I can't believe in saying this, but... I had fun getting in trouble with you guys." Miles said.
"The trip might be over, but as long as Alvin's around, we'll always get into trouble." Simon says.
"Oh! Thanks Si-" I put my finger on Alvin's mouth. "Not a complement.." I added. I giggled a little.
Then Ashely came and they started, very badly, flirting with each other. After it was over, I had to say it.
"Smooth Miles..... Real smooth.."

We left and now we were heading home. But then we stopped at the... Court house??? "Um, mom, why are we here?" I asked.
"You'll see.." mom says as we get out of the car. I see Alvin, Simon and Theo get out of the car in front of us with Dave as we went inside. They made an appointment together for the same time. I didn't know that was possible.
We were now in an office with a judge. I was so nervous that my hands were shaking a little.
" Dave Seville, and Julia Richmond?"
"That's us!" Mom says.
"Ok, by signing this, you guys agree to take care of, but also to provide the health care and educational needs of Alvin, Simon, Alex and Theodore."
What?
"I do." They say in unison.
They start to sigh the paperwork.
"Guys, do you agree to these adoptions?" She asks us.
"Adoption?!" Alvin says surprised.
"So that's why we're here!" Simon says.
"You're adopting us?" Theo asked in suprise.
"You guys were right. Even though that you guys like me like your dad. And I love you like your my own sons, it's never been official. So, let's make it official!" Dave said. I turned to mom.
"And Alex, even though I love you like my own son, and you love me like your mom, it came to mind that it wasn't official at all. So, I thought, why not make our family an official family." Mom told me. I couldn't move, couldn't speak. I was lost in my mind... As I heard what was happening on the outside.
"Chipmunks?" The judge said.
"yes.." Simon said.
"I still need you to say something like I agree to make it y'know, legal."
....
"YEAH! I agree!" Alvin said with pure happiness in his voice.
"Me too!" Theo says.
"1,000%! And that's not even a real number!" Simon says.
"N-No, i-i-it's a n-n-number, Simon, i-it's j-j-just n-not a p-p-percentage..." I managed to say as they looked as me. Frozen.
"Alex?" The judge asked.
That's when I smiled. "No more secrets to anyone." I say as I grab my bangs and show one claw. I cut my bangs off and revealed my second eye. The scar, was there. I opened my eyes-that were closed when I cut my bangs- to reveal my white eye. Then, my right eye cried normal tears, while the white one cried blood. They all started in shock, including Simon. "I AGREE!" I say, very happily. I couldn't believe it! IT WAS NOW OFFICIAL! I HAVE A MOM! AND OFFICIAL MOM!
"Does this mean, we're Seville's?" Theo asked.
"And am I now a Richmond?" I asked.
"Well, for this day forward, Dave Seville and Julia Richmond have officially adopted Alvin, Simon, Alex, and Theodore." She says as she stamps the forms. We all burst into tears as we celebrate happily! We had official family's! We were so happy! We all hugged each other and then we hugged our new parents!! I couldn't wait to get home to spend time with my new mom. I loved her like my own mom. Nothing will change that. Ever.

  
  
  
 

Me and my new official and legal mom make it home. Before we open the door, we both hear Dave scream. Looks like someone's in trouble...
"AAAAAAAAAAAALVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!"
